This will be our first season(Feb.23-Mar.6) that we will not be visiting a Disney Theme Park, although I am sure the kids will be happy with what the Resorts has to offer.Tuscana resort & SVR This year friends that are seasonal residents are taking us on an air boat tour. Any other suggestions of what we can do with our kids that does not involve theme parks or lots of money? Last year we took in the Monster Jam in Jacksonville , the public intoxication and behavior by many was like nothing we have ever witnessed,so that's out of the question. One suggestion was dinosaur world.Counting the days to warm sun, today it -29c in NB Canada

Check the Orlando Groupons. Today they have one for deep sea or shark fishing. They seem to have a lot of activities for their deals. HTHs.

Adding: Also check some of the other cities in FL. Daytona has groupons as well.

Last year we also visited Sea World, Aquatica and Bush Gardens. Although it's not 'budget' For the combo ticket right now it is $124.99 for adults and $116.99 for kids- it gets you into all three parks and has free transportation to Busch Gardens and unlimited visits for 14 days. We also got the meal wrist band too, and had unlimited meals throughtout the day.

You could also try wonderworks, ripley's belive it or not, gatorland or they have a pick-your-own orange grove (google it!)

Hope this helps!
