I am a newly diagnosed diabetic...... we are headed to the happiest place on earth in February, and I am nervous about finding appropriate foods while there. Any diabetics out there that can offer any advice??

Disney does a great job, working with people with special needs. Go to the DISabilities board here-I'm sure you'll find a ton of people with excellent advice!

DisneyGrampa has good advice - disABILITIES have been great at helping out with my gluten free questions. Post your question there and put a title like "Diabetic - HELP" in the title bar to attract relevant responses easily. Also, ask someone to give you the email address for the Disney Special Diets team. They will email you a list of CS and TS places that can accommodate you (most of which can in one way or another). I can't remember the email address off the top of my head, but I don't know if there is a different one for diabetic queries so maybe just ask anyway to be sure you get to the right department.
