My family and I are heading to Disney for our first time in 33 days...yeah!!!
We are staying for 8 nights. I have a friend who has been helping me pick out some retaurants and I also have read and read on this site to make my choices.. I think these are my final choices...If anyone has any suggestions please tell all.

There is me (36) and not picky. I love food. My husband and 2 kids DS (8) and little princess age 7. We all love to eat. We eat just about anything - potatoes, steak, pasta, pizza, rice and seafood. We like restaurants like Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse and Lobster Hut.

Here are our days:

1- The Crystal Palace
2-The Garden Grill
3- Hoop Dee Doo (2TS)
4- 1900 Park Fare
5- Prime Time Cafe
6- Coral Reef

Other TS that I had a hard time deciding between was Spoodles, Blue Zoo, Cap N Jack and Ohana. Did I make the right decisions??? We wanted to do a couple of Character dining, but not all.

Some of our thoughts on CS are:
Cosmic Rays
Sunshine Seasons
Flame Tree BBQ
Pinnochio Village
Wolgang Express Cafe
Liberty Inn
Are there any more that we should try?? Thank you for any suggestions

If you are leaving in 33 days, I would call right now and start making your ADRs. The TS restaurants you have listed are very popular. There may not be seating available or at least any reasonable time slots left. March is the start of spring break season and the restaurants will be quite busy. Good Luck! I hope you get all of the ADRs you want.

I may have forgotten to mention, but I have reservations for all the TS. I just wanted to see what everyone thought..

Hmmm - well, our favorite CS meals are at Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD, Columbia Harbor House At MK, Sunshine Seasons in FW, Tangierine cafe in WS, Flame Tree BBQ at AK, so I think those are good choices!

As for TS, I have to say, Ohana is our family don't miss, and last week was no exception. I'd personally work that one in if possible.
Good luck!

Thank goodness! I thought you meant you were still deciding . . . I was afraid things weren't looking too good for you! lol

We have been to all of the TS and CS you have listed. We liked all of them except Coral Reef. The restaurant is beautiful and the aquarium is awesome, but I thought the food was just okay. Hopefully that was just an off night for us and you will have a great meal. Hope ya'll have a great trip.

Here are our days:

1- The Crystal Palace (Fabulous for breakfast!!)
2-The Garden Grill (Really great for a late lunch/early dinner)
3- Hoop Dee Doo (2TS) (never been but heard great things)
4- 1900 Park Fare (to me, there are better places to use your TS)
5- Prime Time Cafe (great fried chicken, onion rings & pot roast plus great theming)
6- Coral Reef- I have always had great meals but I mainly love it for the larger than life aquarium, you, DH and the kids will  it)

Other TS that I had a hard time deciding between was Spoodles, Blue Zoo, Cap N Jack and Ohana.

Spoodles is great but I think that might be 2 credits, Blue Zoo is great not on DDP but great, I would scrap Capt n Jack, not great food and the restaurant seriously needs to be updated, but OHANA (big yes!! You and the kids will love it, great yummy sides and tons of meat and even some yummy cocktails!

Some of our thoughts on CS are:
Cosmic Rays - not bad for fast food
Sunshine Seasons- great variety and you can even get some healthy food too!
Flame Tree BBQ- Not to bad, nothing to write home about but will do
Pinnochio Village-
Wolgang Express Cafe- haven't eaten there
Liberty Inn- again Standard food, not bad but I would try something else in Epcot.

Are there any more that we should try?? Thank you for any suggestions

I would absolutely add Columbia Harbor House for a CS, great food, burgers, fish and chicken strips but also more healthy options for a change of pace- the tuna sandwich is great, Peco's Bill is a great burger hut but in the public area they have mushrooms and onions and such to build your own burger and The Earl of Sandwich for my favorite CS on property great sandwiches and salads.

Enjoy your trip!! :dance3:

Wow thank you everyone for the great replies...I have 2 questions where is Earl of Sandwiches DTD???? and what about Tangerine, where is that CS.

I Forgot too that we are going to Breakfast at Boma. I heard that was really great. There are so many great looking TS. Hard to decide.

For CS, we liked Planet Pizza at Hollywood Studios. I know, pizza is pizza, but it was really good. I got the pizza and salad and was still pretty full at dinner. Not to mention the kids loved to play video games while the adults got to relax in the a/c.

If you're thinking about doing a character breakfast, Ohana was my DS8's favorite. We also like Chef Mickey's.

We absolutely loved Ohana and Kona Cafe at the Poly. If you could add one of these, I would. Both on our list for our next trip. Come to think of it, I have a long list!:rotfl2:

I have 2 questions where is Earl of Sandwiches DTD???? and what about Tangerine, where is that CS.

Earl Of Sandwich is in the Marketplace in DTD, if you are staying at POR/POFQ its right off of the dock when you get off the boat.

Tangerines is in Morroco in the World part of Epcot.

Yeah, there are tons of decisions and i have been many times in the past few years and still havent been to all the restaurants but that is also b/c I often return to my favorites. You will discover your own as well! Have fun!!

For character breakfasts my family loves Chef Mickey's and the Princess breakfast in Norway. Flametree BBQ is a must eat for us at AK.

That is funny because we are staying at the POR.....thanks for the suggestions.

are any of these for breakfast? i like to try to get in one TS as a really late breakfast. that is always my character choice and it is usuallly a buffet. the food at 1900 was really good for breakfast, this time we are doing breakfast at crystal palace (my sister loves pooh bear) it's a nice way to start the day. i always designate our breakfast day as our day to sleep in. it works out really well that way.

hey jen, where is planet pizza? we went looking for pizza on our last trip, only found pizzafari in AK and saw it didn't have pizza on the kids menu :confused3 so we would up eating at the BBQ place. our first day is at hollywood studios, and it sounds great after the plane ride.

We have 1 breakfast planned at the Boma..I heard that it is really good.
I am so excited.....31 days to go:cheer2:
