Hello Everyone
We normally go to Disney in January but due to my DH unexpected emergency surgery, we had to put it off. We are now planning on going late April/early May. If you have any suggestions on when might be better, please share. My DH, DD, DS and for the first time my dad is coming along
I was wondering if any of you tried those Personal Cooling Systems that are worn around the neck? We are upstate New Yorkers and know it is hot in May and with my father coming along, I was thinking perhaps these would make the heat a little more tolerable, especially for my DH and my father. I know the heat can sometimes make it difficult to be as comfortable as you would like to be. We went once in September and the heat was unbearable for us!
But we don't want to put the trip off too long so it is definitely late April/early May because missing it this month, in conjunction with my husband's surgery has been overwhelming and we need a getaway A.S.A.P, but he needs about 8 - 10 weeks to heal (Chron's disease took it's toll and he had to have emergency Gastrointestinal surgery). But any help with tolerating the heat is welcomed and appreciated. I have heard mixed reviews on these cooling systems so was hoping some of my fellow Disney fanatics might be able to fill me in.
Any help or suggestions is appreciated. Thank you so very much
Best wishes to you all in 2004!!!!
