Any suggestions at Pleasure Island

DH and I are taking a solo trip (no kids) in a few days. After numerous trips to Disney, we're finally making it to Pleasure Island. Anything we shouldn't miss?

What exactly is the Adventurer's Club? I am also looking for suggestions for my fiance and I. We don't want any sort of dance club places but still would like to have a night out at PI.

We're going to go to the Adventurer's Club for the first time (after many trips to WDW). We are not nightclub peple, so I have a couple of dumb questions. What time should we arrive? Is there any one place better to sit than another? Without giving away any surprises, what happens at the Adventurer's Club - is there a formal show, or what? Is one night of the week better than another (I would rather have less people than more - we are going Jan 9 - 16). Thanks!

The Adventurer's Club is interactive Comedy.

There is a main salon and 3 side rooms.

Go downstairs and sit anywhere in the main salon, order a drink, and just watch. There is a cast of characters that will come out and either have a show in the main salon, or invite you to one of the side rooms.

I would say show up between 8 and 9. Each of the side rooms has 3-5 shows per night and ALL of them are different, so if they say come into the library and you've already seen a library show, the next one will be different.

It is great fun!!!

I would say Thur, Friday, and Saturday are their busiest nites, those are also the nights when the best "cast" works, but most are pretty good.

If you go more than 1 night, don't be surprised if different folks are playing different characters. They all switch up.

As mentioned already AC is something to see once. It is great if you are into an adult FOTLK. The nice thing about PI is the variety of clubs on the premises. Myself I enjoy 8TRAX the most followed by BET Soundstage Club and Rock 'N Roll Beach Club. Overall there is a good variety and since they are so close to each other please visit several. This is the key very rarely will you have the opportunity to visit such a variety of places within walking distance. Once you have the pass just pop in to another venue you never know you might have a new review for us DISers.
Sorry AC fans I have been there 8-10 times the decoration is wonderful and the acts are great but the bar service is so mediocre to poor that it distracts from the overall feeling.
