Oh my goodness, I was so happy with the win tonight! My whole family is. They are from Pittsburgh so it was a big deal to us, even though we are in South Florida!

I swear I about peed my pants when Polamalu got that interception and touchdown in the 4th. I felt really bad for McGahee though. I hope he isn't seriously injured!

My son is currently deployed to Iraq with the Marines. He sent me an email today saying that fans of both teams are being offered an opportunity to record messages that will be played on the megatron at the game

I think Hines Ward was in agony, not because of his leg, but because he couldn't play, he looked so miserable on sidelines.

Anyone going to try and catch the parade?

I've always said that if they ever win the Super Bowl again, I am not going to miss the MVP parade, (we're a 7 hr drive away) and dh woke me up this morning saying "well?...well what?...did you make the reservations yet?"

If I can get over the jinx factor , we'll catch the game at the Steelers headquarters in Daytona Beach and go to Orlando Monday morning! omgosh, the beach, the game, and mk, it will be the best 4 days ever!!!!

So, can't find much info on it, only that the MVP has 2 weeks to make the appearance, but it's usually the following day. They can choose Orlando or CA, but they're already in Tampa....and I'm sure a Steeler will pick Orlando

Does anyone know where to get more info, and ugh, got to find a cheap nice pet friendly hotel near the gate

I am not a fan of any football team, but a Terrible Towel was waving in this house. DH is a big Steelers fan, so he'll enjoy the Superbowl.

Sure did! Passed it along to my son. He said Ben is 'quite the gentleman"!

DS got up extra early to catch some of the game over there. I got an email from him in the fourth quarter - 'Hail Polamalu!!!'

I got to say with everything going on today I like how the media pointed out that at last nights dinner Dan Rooney presented Obama with the game ball!
And did you see all the towels at the inaguration?! This week really could not get better. A new President and a trip to the Superbowl!!
