Any South West Airlines experts out there?

GAIL HAYDEN: "The locations are listed on SWA's site." - Where on the site are they listed? I'm looking and I can't find it. It's kinda like trying to find them in the first place.

PINNIE: Yeah, Gail is right. You need another Boarding pass when you get off one plane and get on another. Chances are good it will be in the C group but you could luck out and get B. It's the same as before. You still had to get a colored boarding card when you changed planes and it usually put you in the higher numbers unless there is a TON of time between your connections.

Just wondering what the chances are at 3 seats together..?
I am flying out of MHT in June ( i will arrive at least 2 hrs early )
Thanks Michelle

Again, that depends on how many have shown up before you, but, normally the chances are very good.

Gail is rapid check-in only used for passengers who are NOT checking in any luggage?

Thanks again for coming to my aid!;)

When we get to the gate at SWA in Providence I will get in line and read or play my game and when we board I will get into the plane and try and grab the 6 seats that are together! that way my mom and I don't fight over the window :teeth: and my mom and dad prefer the side that is up against the wall so they can sit up striaght!!

Thanks Gail, It will be me, DD 9 and DS 6 so hoping my DD doesn't end up alone .. Michelle

Thanks for the Link, Gail. It looks like DTW has a kiosk, but it may be a moot point for me anyway. I have to work until 3:30 and run home to change and our flight is at 6:30. It isn't a real issue if DH and I sit together on the plane. After all we ARE going to be spending the next 7 days together. Oldest son has to work and the youngest will be getting ready for finals at MSU that week!

Way I figure it, even if we sit apart, we are both going to the same place
;)

Here's hoping you don't get one of the reconfigured planes that no longer have that "lounge" seat. All the planes are being redone and they are doing away with that seating arrangement.

Sammi,
We have only used it for connecting flights (luggage was curbed at Bradley). In truth, since we never do carry ons, I cannot tell you what the ins and outs are for this when you are starting your trip. I think the website explains it, however.
Wish I could have been more help. :)

Yes, Sammi - the kiosk is for passengers who do not need to check luggage. DH and I used it in February on our flight from Manchester to Orlando - it was very quick and easy. We would have used it on the return trip, but we couldn't locate the kiosk:rolleyes: (We were not looking "up" for the signs)

Yes we will be checking in luggage (we're going to Florida for 24 days!!):bounce: :Pinkbounc

But I am going try curbside check-in as Gail suggested as it sounds so much easier. (And Gail, I have American dollars ready to tip the skycap)!:p ;) :)
