Hi,

I really love South Park, even though it does sometimes over step the mark.

I particularly like it when Cartman sings, and talks posh!!

Anyone else like it??

:cheer2:

It's one of the best shows on TV - and only occasionally gets near the line ;)

I love it - but haven't seen it for ages. I loved the South Park Movie - the songs were fantastic.

My DH can do a fantastic cartman and if ever we have a disagreement (very rare!) he always mutters something in his cartman voice and I can't help but laugh!

As Mr Garrison would say "Drugs are bad...OK?"

Janet

there are moments of pure genuis in south park (im thinking "I'm not fat, I'm big boned" and Mr Hanky)

and some of the songs are pure brilliance (it's hard to be a jew on christmas, i want to be up there, la resitance etc)

shame its not on more

your just not looking in the right places !

They are midway through season 10, which started with "the return of chef", where they turned chef into a paedophile and he joined the super adventure club. There was a 3 month break but I think last weeks was about episode 10. One of the best this season was the one about World of Warcraft, and also the 9/11 consipracy theory one was good, where Cartman persuaded the whole town that Kyle was responsible for the twin towers.
Pure class.

you might also enjoy the movie Basketball.

As far as I'm aware, it's only on Paramount at the moment.

However, there are some classic moments South Park moments on www.youtube.com

I find the character Butters particularly amusing. I think it's the way he talks. He seems all nervous doesn't he, and rather vulnerable.

Am I right in thinking the South Park movie was the first time that we saw Kenny sans orange coat??

I used to watch that all the time I love it! :happytv:
But we only have the basic five channels so I never get to see it anymore!

oh my God they killed kenny.....

Timmy was my favourite along with Mr hanky "hydi folks"

I used to have a cartman desk top thingy which said "I'm not fat, I'm big boned" and "I love cheesy puffs"

I only have freeview so don't think it's on any of those chanels. :sad2:

I've really got into that whole genre of cartoons lately. King of the Hill, Futurama etc, but by far and away the best is Family Guy. I don't know how they get away with some of it :rotfl2:

Its on MTV however I don't know what series they are showing as I don't watch it regularly.

is this on regular tv? im not digital yet

I think Paramount are at least a series behind.
I download it like I do for 99% of my TV viewing nowadays as its better quality than Sky can provide me with....In fact I really don't know why I pay for Sky these days, its only the Sport that gets watched.

Saw on teletext yesterday they,ve done a Steve Irwin bit with him with a stingray hanging off his chest. Bit over the top I think. Fortunately they're getting quite a bit of stick over it.
