any sold their SSR...?

anyone here sold their SSR or any other dvc points via resale? And how long did u have to list it for? I see alot of dvc inventories on resale and wondering how long has it been listed.

If you look at the inventory listed on the Timeshare Store site you'll see a number listed at the left hand side of each listing.It will look something like SSR-150-0204. The decoder ring tells me that it is a contract for SSR, with 150 points that was listed on 2/4. That should give you an idea of the age of each listing.

I sold an OKW contract the second day it was available. I sold a BCV contract about a week after it was available. I've had a small OKW contract available for a while, had two offers, both buyers backed out after Disney did not exercise ROFR (so I got half of both deposits).

We listed two SSR contracts last June, one sold with two days, the other sold six months later. We love SSR, but I needed to sale some points in order to purchase VCG.

what's the going commission for going resale these days ?

It can be as high as 12-15%. Most companies use 10% now.
