Any Skylanders deals still?

I totally missed the boat on all the deals during Black Friday. Are there any deals on the Skylanders Giants version? We already have Spyro's Adventure, so I don't think the package that includes the portal is necessary....just looking for the Skylanders Giants game.

Toys R Us has buy one get one 50% off this week, but that really doesn't help with the game itself as much as it does the accessories.

For an extra $15 you might consider getting the starter. It comes with 2 extra figures that retail at ~$10 each. I also understand the new portals have cables. The wireless one from Spyro's Adventure requires batteries. You might want to verify the portal thing with somebody more knowledgeable than myself.

I have not seen the owners pack on special at all. I bought the starter pack when it was on special for $50 before Thanksgiving. I would watch for that price since the owner pack is $60 and the starter pack came with two extra figures, I though $50 was a great price.

We also have the regular sky landers but decided to buy the starter giants be sue it was cheaper. I got it for 50%off ($29.99) when I bought another video game last week at toys r us.

Thank you for your replies. I think it's best to buy the starter kit even though we already have the portal...but geez, I really don't want to pay full price!! Really hoping for some kind of sale again.

Not really a sale but Target is offering a coupon on FB good for $10 GC when you spend $50. You could possibly save 5% with the red card as well if you have one.

Owners pack means you already have the portal from the original game, so you're just buying the new game itself. The starter pack has a game, portal, and 3 characters.

I keep looking for a sale on the Giants starter pack, but I haven't found any. Have you still seen them on sale at Amazon or elsewhere recently?

I found the Skylander Giants starter pack at JCP this morning on clearance for $50. After the 20% off coupon, it came out to $40! Yay! So happy! One of my errands this morning was to Target to buy it at $75 and use the $10 coupon. This was so much better!
