chell said:You never know. I had posted on another website, which wasn't a Disney or even a dating site. But I think in my profile I said I was single. I got a message from a very sweet guy and from there we started talking by phone and email. That lead to our first date. He is 12 years younger than me and I thought there was no way this could go anywhere, but I feel like I have met my soul mate. Some may say I'm crazy but the connection we share is beyond amazing and very difficult to put into words. Even though we have only been dating two months I know he loves me dearly and I love him just as much.

Congrats Chell,
You are a great example of what I posted last month on this thread.

Both men and women need to be open to meeting that Disney Prince or Princess whether they are older or younger than you, and not worry about the age difference or the physical distance initially between you two. What is important is that you are attracted to that person and that they share your values, your hopes and your dreams (Disney or otherwise).
So CinRell listen to your friends, don't give up hope. One of your friends, one of your fellow Dis'ers might be your Disney Prince.

As far as MBF's belief that this is not a dating site, he is correct if you accept the common definition of a dating site. I on the other hand believe that true love develops out of friendship, and if I make a friend here who later becomes my Disney Princess, all the better. And I don't think you can put a timetable on love, or wait until both are comfortable to say "I Love You." When you feel the time is right then share that with your Disney Prince or Princess. Who knows they might be afraid to share the sentiment with you

Just some thoughts before coffee and work...
