Internet "dating" just doesn't work I guess. People make a connection but keep looking...
My connection was pretty "known" but apparently it didnt' matter. I can't imagine pursuing something with someone I knew had something going with someone else but hey...
Anyway.. this kinda hit me hard so best of luck with everyone. I'm chosing to leave.
I agree with DisneydaveCT CinRell, and this place wouldn't be as fun without your comments.CinRell said:Hey I wanted to wish everyone here luck.. I connected with someone several months ago and had regular contact only to hear he's connected with someone else.

As far as being disapointed on online dating. I find it's not much different then meeting someone in a bar. If they are going to be someone they are not it's going to happen if you meet them on here or somewhere else. Don't give up at most your making some great friends
Congrats chell. All the best of luck to the both of you. I know what your feeling, and I hope to someday get that feeling back. I'm also ready to accept whatever comes my way and make the most of it. Head up is right.chell said:CinRell I'm sorry to hear that but I do hope you stick around, I always enjoy reading your posts. I know I don't post here now but I do still read.
All of you who are still looking just keep your chin up. You never know. I had posted on another website, which wasn't a Disney or even a dating site. But I think in my profile I said I was single. I got a message from a very sweet guy and from there we started talking by phone and email. That lead to our first date. He is 12 years younger than me and I thought there was no way this could go anywhere, but I feel like I have met my soul mate. Some may say I'm crazy but the connection we share is beyond amazing and very difficult to put into words. Even though we have only been dating two months I know he loves me dearly and I love him just as much.
Why did I just tell you all that? I guess to give you hope because it really is out there somewhere. I NEVER in my life thought I would find someone to love me like this and to treat me the way he does. I simply didn't think it existed. I was married for nearly 14 years and never in all those years did the ex make me feel anything like this. Yeah, I know that is pretty sad. But I never did believe in "Ever After".
I hope these feelings last the rest of our days but if they don't I've experienced enough love to carry me through all my days. Deep down I know that he & I will grow old together.
It is my hope, dream, wish and prayer that each of you finds the person who brings about the same feelings in you as well.
