MBF what is your favorite of the values?

So off topic but I just went to the grociery store for lunch. Now.. I'm wearing sandles with no toe polish which is gross as is.. my feet aren't cute. NO feet are. I hate feet... but last night the polish was chipping so I removed it and now.. no polish.

Ok so I'm at the store and my peanut butter FALLS onto my big toe. It took all I had NOT to scream... now the toe is turning white where it hit and when I bend it I want to cry.

So NOW I have strappy sandles with ugly toes, no polish and a bit white and blue THING on my big toe.

I'm one SEXY MAMA today!

Was it CHRUNCHY Peanut Butter? :rolleyes1 Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Hopefully you won't loose the nail.

it IS crunchy.. fat free too tho it felt VERY fat landing on my toe. The nail is fine it's the TOE:((

I like both equally....but I have stayed at all three All Stars and liked them all. If you have kids it's the place to be. I was usually by myself on business. I always asked for a room far from the pool to get rest at night but ended up pool side most of the time. Sometimes I didn't get much rest since the CM's weren't very good about clearing the pools when they were supposed to close. I'd stay there again if I went by myself but they are definitely lacking in the romance department

OUCH, Cin!! :( I broke my little toe once, and it absolutely amazed me how one little appendage could hurt so BAD. I hope your poor toe is okay!

I have to agree with you on that one MBF - I stayed at the POP when I went solo in February. It was fine for one person, but I wouldn't want to stay there if it was me and my significant other.

Thanks Gina it's fine if I keep it still but if I bend it the swollen part cracks and...

uh.. I hope nobody's eating a late lunch reading this.. eeew!

First off, I would like to thank everyone for their replies. I would love to see your Disney Art Bill, it's ashame you can't post it here.

As far as restaurants has anyone ever tried the Blue Zoo and or Don Shula's? I believe both of these are in the Dolphin hotel. I would think there would be mimimal of children...More adult oriented I would think?

Hey Brunette,

You asked if there were any other Marylanders on here. Well, I'm a fairly recent one, having just moved to MD last year. I'm on the west side of Baltimore, between Pikesville and Randallstown.

As for DIS meets, there's a whole bunch of us single DISers going down the second full week of December.

Sorry you had to go through that. I worked in the grocery business all my life and you have no idea how many cans and bottles have landed on my toes..but I have to admit...I used a lot of goalie moves to keep them from hitting the floor and breaking...

Brunette

I wish I could post them too but I guess that's life :(

I can email them to people if they want to see them. Maybe I should just take pics of all of them and load them on my puter...makes me wish I'd taken pics of all the ones I gave away...

May all your days be touched in some way by the magic of Disney :)

Hi Brunette,

I ate at Shula's last MouseFest. A chain of steakhouses owned by the former Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins coach, it's a tribute to the 1972-73 Dolphins who are the only NFL team to finish the season undefeated and untied. Your waiter tells you the menu while the menu itself (at least the beef selections, without prices--I think the idea being that if you need to ask, you can't afford it) is brought out to you in the form of an actual football on a wooden kickoff tee, which I think is a little over the top. There's also a regular printed menu with prices. All al a carte. Shula's dress code is "business casual" and the restaurant features dark-colored furniture and dark wood paneling on the walls, as well as white linen tablecloths. Think "gentlemans' club" without strippers.

I ate there on December 4, 2005 at around 6:50 pm EST after skipping lunch. The restaurant is located in the WDW Dolphin on the second floor off the lobby, to your left as you come off the escalator. The specialty is big, expensive cuts of beef, ranging from a 20-oz sirloin to a 32-oz prime rib, all the way to the 48-oz Porterhouse, which is actually a filet mignon and a ribeye on a T-bone; but there are chicken and seafood entrees too. If you can eat that monster in one sitting, you become a member of Shula's "48-oz Club", getting a plaque on the wall with your name and restaurant location on a wall in a back room, as well as an autographed photo of Coach Shula being carried off the field on his players' shoulders after getting his 300th win against the Eagles at the Vet.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing, plus lobster bisque soup and two bites of a twice-baked potato. I finished my meal at about 8:00 pm and was surprised at not only being able to walk out, but also not food-comaing back at Wilderness Lodge. I also had a bottle of Darjeeling Tea (good stuff) to drink. It's a once-in-a-lifetime meal: the cost of the steak alone here is equal to two meals at Lone Star Steakhouse. A meal at Shula's is a nice splurge, but come hungry.

Jim

you my friend... are a god.

Disneyfan63 just to show you how my mind works. Folks were mentioning romantic dining or romantic spots at WDW. So, I'm reading your post thinking "Shula's, menu on the football, beef! Perfect place for a date". I even pictured myself ordering the 48oz Porterhouse to try and get the plaque and autograph.

I can see it now, "Almost there dear. What? Of course it's worth it. It's Don Shula's autograph! and I get my name on a plaque for eternity! Wait, don't leave! I'm not done yet!" :rotfl2:

Too Cool!!!! Disneyfan63 :thumbsup2 Did they take a picture of you or did you get a picture with the plaque/empty plate?

Shula's sounds cool!! Not that I could eat a 48oz steak, but I'd love the plaque and stuff. And menus on footballs!! I love it. :teeth:

It's so unfair... I'm a HUGE football fan, and I hate chick flicks. Why am I still single?? LOL

am for one definately going to goto shula's (as well as KOBE steakhouse on Idrive) unless anyone else can tell me of a disney restaurant i can chew kobe cow?

Kalazois, you do know there is a KOBES closer to DW? If you go out thru DTD and to Crossroads plaza(goodings, etc..), turn left, take first right, don't know the road, Palm Parkway maybe? KOBES is on the right, near Hooters and past Olive Gdn. Much closer in case you are going for proximity to DW. We always drive Palm Parkway from DW when we go to Universal for the day, the road parallels I-4 and you get there a whole lot faster.

The Kobe Steakhouse is a chain of hibachi restaurants and not the best around. Only hibachi place i've ever seen that includes fried potatoes with the meal. They definitely do not have Kobe beef.

Victoria and Albert's usually has Kobe Beef as an add-on (I think $25.00) to the regular fixed-price menu.

We were just at KOBES in MARCH,no potatoes, they served rice and noodles, very good...we go for the show, not the beef. I've always had good food there.

how can they call themselves KOBE if they dont have KOBE steak? on their website they say add $15 to a meal and they will change ur steak for a 6oz KOBE. Not happy now... all i wanted to do in orlando was three things:

eat a KOBE steak
fire a handgun at firing range
go on tower or terror.

I NEED KOBE steak, i been looking forward to that ever since i went with parents and they didnt let me get one.. mean parents.. ill always remember that.

So they dont do KOBE steak? where does it other than the ungodly expensive V&A's? actualyl how much is that place because i heard that the king would have to sell his mother to eat there. Say i wanted a KOBE meal with alcohol and my girl would want a lesser meal but still something nice? Would it be like $80-100 each?
