Any Single Disney Men Out There?

I lived in the "Sunshine" state 4 years and we had hurricanes hit the state every year. They didn't hit where I lived (at that time 42 years had passed since one hit that area but the year after I left mother nature corrected that error) and I have been at Disney when they hit the East coast. They are exceptionally well prepared and guest safety is a top priority. I have been there twice when they closed the parks. No biggie, they extended our passes an extra day.

Personally I love late October through early February. Rooms are plentiful, crowds, excpet during the holidays, are minimal and it is cool enough to play golf, sun yourself, swim, boat...etc.

Another 3 cents!

Yep I am so glad my DS love hockey (and not Basketball -- boy do I dislike that sport!) and my DD plays softball - another sport we love at my house..
and that link is bizzare !!!

Seeing as this thread deals with single guys I though I would share this. I just read this off another site and it was funny and creepy at the same time. K-RAZY!

OMG what a nightmare date!!!!! And I thought I had some bad ones before. No stalkers like that!
I'd have to say my worst date story happened when I was 18. I went on a date with a young man from Italy. We had dinner and then he wanted to drive to the beach to "watch" the sunset. He parked, turned the car off and I turned to start talking to him because there seemed to be an awkward silence. As soon as I turned I noticed he was masturbating. :scared1: :faint: I was very innocent at age 18 and had never seen such a thing. I covered my eyes and scooted as far over in my seat as I could. He "finished" in a cigarette cellophane and held it up to show me "this could be a lil Liz, this could be a lil Sestino". I told him to take me home immediately. Needless to say, there was no second date. :scared:

Anyone else have dating horror stories..just for fun?

I second that !!! EEEWWW and LOL all at the same time .. you poor thing..

the worst thing that ever happened to me was I was out at a bar in the winter time and a grizzly looking man came up to me and sat down and said wanna ride my snowmobile - I was like No thanks I hate the snow and then he said - wanna RUB my Stump it makes the women go wild --- OK he was missing one arm from the elbow down -- I almost passed out wasn't sure what he meant by stump but I wasn't sticking around to find out, I politely told him NO thanks and wandered off to find my friends on the dance floor..

Hey all!

Wow Lizzy, you actually took that better than most women I know. I think that tops any bad date story I've ever heard. I wonder if the Italian guy ever made it to a second date with anyone, and if he did how would he top that type of show? There are definetely some freaky folks out there.

Well at least I think most other dates I go on in my life should at least be SOME better than that one. Loved the Grizzly/Stumpy guy story too!

Well, tried the single rider line at Test Track back on Mon. Not much luck.

:rotfl:

Cool ride, though! :thumbsup2

Hi,

CinRell and mdhkitten, I'm sorry to hear about your breakups. I agree with DisneydaveCT. There are lots of Disney guys out there looking for a Disney girl.

I'm one of those looking for a nice Disney woman; but like Tink's Tormenter, I haven't had much luck. Though I've had three dates this year with Disney-loving women--counting #1DizGal on May 12 at Animal Kingdom; prairiegekko on May 11 at LeCellier; and Sharon (from BigChurch) on July 1, with whom I haven't spoken in almost three weeks--in my whole life I've demonstrated an uncanny ability to be "Mister Left" instead of someone's "Mr. Right".

The three dates in one calendar year tied a personal record I set in 1990, which is probably a bad sign; I went completely dateless from August 4, 1990 to October 24, 1999. I've reached a point now in which I believe that I like women more than they like me; that I should concentrate on friendships instead of on finding "the one"; and that if I can't choose wisely, perhaps I should not choose at all.

Have a Disneytastic day!

Jim

...as she emerges from the world of lurking....

Hi all,

Sorry to bring this up again, but this post was just recently brought to my attention (This girl has been busy and lurking is an overstatement at my ability to keep up with this thread) BTW..Congrats to all of the new relationships

Back to the Quote,

Just to redeem Jim here a bit. The meeting at Le Cellier as I understood it was to be a good time to meet a fellow disney fan in the presence of great food. I had no idea before, during or after the event that this was a "date" in the traditional sense. So to clarify...In my mind the "Mr. Left or Mr.Right" thing was neither here nor there, therefore instead of thinking of it as an unsuccessful date, it really was in fact a very successful meeting with good food and good company and cannot be counted as part of the bad run streak. As I told you in my pm Jim. Please don't try so hard to look for her. She will show up when you are both ready..in the mean time have some fun ;)

To everyone following this, I hope it is a lesson, that there are many here not just looking for the "one" but looking also for some good times and new friendship. Please keep your options open to the possibilities. There are a lot of great people here all, with a common interest and understanding of a very unique place.

Take care and stay safe tonight,
-PG

Jaimie (aka PG), long time no "see"! ;) Hey, whatever happened to my pics of the "world", and of that ring from HM? I wanna see! :teeth: Don't worry, I didn't think that our lunch at CP was a "date"! ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl: :teeth: :lmao: Just to clarify, I am just being silly! :p
