Thanks for the info midnite....I just signed up for dismates last night and haven't had a chance to check it all out.

Are all you disney men registered there?? There seems to be an inbalance in your favor!!!

I've opened up the DisMates chat for you guys. Everyone who joins (including with the free memberships) can chat now at any time. Just sign in and select "Chat" from the menu on the left.

Hey everyone! I just PM'd MidNite told her that the chat option isn't showing up for free members and asked if she could please fix that so we could chat tonight. Would everyone that is available like to get on the chat tonight? What time would be good? I was thinking around 8:00. Let me know what you think. Just last night I was actually thinking about contacting the DIS board admin to ask if they could arrange a chat for us Disney singles and than I saw the post by Midnite. Thanks Midnite! Maybe the DIS board can help us if it can't be fixed by tonight.

I am with you there....the general chat tends to get busy with other things. It would be nice to have just singles chatting. I may be wrong but I think we can just go in to the chat area here on the dis anytime it is not in use, sign in and chat a way.

Ok, since I'm a nerd and everyone wants to chat, I started a group on Yahoo where we can chat and it will list all of the members. We can post photos, too. If anyone doesn't like this format, or has a better idea, just let me know! Oh, and you will have to sign up for Yahoo (it's free) if you're not already a member!

Hi, this is my first post. I am from Spain and I would like to apologize for my poor english. I,m 38 yo single men just divorced ,with a little 5yo daughter. I like Disney World, I`been 3 times in DisneyLand Paris and once in Orlando with my parents in 1982, long time ago.

My daughter and I will be flying to WDW next May from 12nd to 19th in Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is anybody going to be there at this time to have a drink and show me some of your WDW

I did notice that the ratio is in our favour. Doesn't seem to be making it any easier though.

You think you are having trouble...try it with a kid!!!

I could try to make you feel better and tell you the perfect someone is out there waiting for you...good things come to those who wait....or any one of the other useless things well meaning people tell you. But we all know the truth is when you are alone on another Saturday night hanging out on your computer, reading the latest posts on the disboards...it stinks!!

Truth is I have a very full life and would like to have someone special to share it with. Will my life still be great without someone...yes. Would it be better with someone to share it with...absolutely!
