Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I just customized our bands! So excited, EXCEPT! My DS, who is nearly three does NOT get one because he's still considered an infant. Sigh.
It's not the end of the world, but he's going to want to be like his big sisters. I have to try and find something magic band-like for him to have. Anyone had a suggestion of something that would fit on a skinny two-year-old's arm?

We just booked a last minute trip for sept 5th-10th. I hadn't been keeping up with the magic bands posts or much else as we had no intentions of going. My question is...can we do magic bands without fastpass+ reservations? I was hoping to make this a laid back trip. If we can do this, will we still be able to do traditional fastpass'? It's all or nothing as far as fastpasses go, right? We can't do fastpass+ and traditional fastpass together? Thanks in advance!!

My one year old was listed and I was able to pick one for him, he doesn't have park tickets, but is MDE and on dining reservations.

My DD27 was able to customize for DGD8.5 months (she's listed as 1 yr old).

For some reason, when trying to book FP+, it won't let me pick any for my husband (it just says "must have valid theme park admission" beside his name. He is on the same package as the rest of us. Anybody else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Someone might have already suggested this but make sure each adult in your party has a MDE account and have them link to you. I noticed this too and that seemed to solve it for us.

This is confusing to me...I have not heard of anyone at POP after 9/7 getting MB? We are there from 9/13-20 and have not had the option. Am I missing something?

I'm at POP same exact dates you are. FP+ opened up to me yesterday. Earlier today I checked to see if I had MB customization option yet and I didn't. Then I checked again tonight and BAM all of a sudden I can choose magic bands. I think it's slowly rolling out.

I talked with two different people at IT today, because I had this same question. I want the magic bands for room access and charging, but I don't know if I want to make FP+ reservations or not. I was told that anyone staying at a test resort can get a magic band, even if they don't have a park ticket.

They also told me that we'd be able to access regular fastpass using the backup KTTWC that we will be given or our APs. I think we could actually use both if we wanted to (the infamous "triple dipping!"). The CM I spoke with encouraged me to make the FP+ reservations, just to try it out, but said that if I didn't like it, I could use regular FP whenever I wanted to.

I also wanted to add that you need to have tickets attached to your MDX account in order to make FP+ reservations. I have my AP linked and my DS#1 AP linked, and I can make FP+ reservations for us. My DH does not have a ticket, and I can't make them for him, even though I was able to customize a magic band for him.

So, if you are trying to make FP+ reservations, its time to link the tickets.

We arrive Sep 19 in BLT on points, have our 7 day PH tickets linked and checked in online. Should we be getting an invite?

It does not seem BLT is part of the test.

I have to say that Disney has chosen very poorly on the testing resorts.

You should NEVER choose part of any resort to get the MB.

Contemporary but not BLT
Animal Kingdom Jambo but not AKL Kidani
Port Orleans Riverside but not French Quarter

I am sorry, but if part of the resort is getting the MB then ALL of the resort guests should be getting them. PERIOD!

Looks like Disney has decided their own way of making some of their guest feel like second class. I just don't find it fair that some parents will have to explain to their children why some other kids staying in the SAME hotel have the bands and they can not. And I don't want to hear that these hotels are different. I know many of the guest use the same pools and eating at the same restaurants. The accessories will be available for purchase for some of the hotel's guest and not all. BAD FORM DISNEY, BAD FORM!

I have a few questions!

For those that have personalized their bands...I've done that. I've picked my colors and I clicked the Done button. I'm still able to change them around though...am I missing a 'confirm' button somewhere? Or will I be able to change them up until the 'complete by Aug 22nd' date given and then they will ship?

I'm doing a split stay at AKV and AoA. I've confirmed TWO sets of MB's for each confirmation. Has that happened to anyone else?

I am not able to get any BoG FP+ after 9/28 and still not getting FP+ options for any date after 9/29. Anyone able to confirm any FP+ options on this date or after yet?

I am truly baffled by this myself. There will be guests passing each other everyday with half not getting the Magic Band and FP+ abilities. As I know some guests won't really know what they're missing out on or might not even have wanted to. But to those who wanted it I see that as putting a dampener on some Disney Magic.

Is anyone else that customized last night still able to go in and make changes? Does everyone else see a date? I sure don't see one...

Thanks to someone on this thread I "checked in" to Poly for 9/13 and am customizing magic bands with my husband as we speak.

It all depends on your arrival date. For example, I check-in to POP on September 24th, and my MDE says "Customize by August 24th." (that's exactly 1 month before my arrival) I can go in and re-customize if I want to.

If you're less than a month out, I don't think it will have a date on there for you. They will send the bands as soon as you customize.

If you don't actually go ahead and confirm your shipping address, the bands will be at your resort (at least that's what MDE website told me before I confirmed my shipping address).

Does UPS deliver on Saturdays?? From the last batch, we should expect the bands tomorrow but I'm not sure UPS has Saturday delivery so we'll see!
