Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

They dont even ship to Canada. You will pick them up at your resort.

Not yet or they may start with this test most references in the FAQs about us shipping only have vanished but one. Also they are to be shipped out internationally at some point as they are to be used for DME as well! But for now just the US, until we know other wise

FP+ still seems to be linked to having park tickets. I have magic bands and was able to personalize them, etc but I can't get FP+ since our tix are old and disney's website won't let me link them and phone staff say I have to take them to the park.

I may try disabling them later and see if that'll trigger it. So far the only "closing shows" I've been able to get FP+ for is Fantasmic. I was *really* *really* hoping for Wishes. We've never seen it from even close to the castle!

Doing online check-in unlocked the Magic Bands for me!

I can't seem to make a FP for BOG lunch though... every time I go to the site, it asks me to log in with my MDE account. Once I do that, I get a message saying thank you for participating, please try again later.

Well I thought I would pitch the idea of getting a RO at Pop for one night before our WL stay to get MBs and FP +. But I will be in the doghouse big time if it turns out that we can't use FP+ for our package. What to do?

Got the invite emailed to me today -made the RO reservation on Tuesday evening (it automatically linked to my package at a non-testing resort), made the fastpass+ selections and customized magic bands on the same day. We got our magic bands in the mail yesterday morning.

Since MyMagic+ is still being developed, we're offering this opportunity for some Guests, like you, to test it out during your upcoming visit and tell us what you think works and where we need to improve. But don't worry, if you decide not to participate in this test, you will still enjoy a great Walt Disney World visit.
As a tester, you get to try our NEW MagicBand.

Step 2

Link Your Reservation

To unlock the many benefits of MyMagic+, link your reservation now. Once you're signed in, click on "Link Existing Reservations and Tickets" to link your Resort reservation. Your reservation confirmation number is xxxx.

You'll need to verify the names of everyone on this reservation during this step. If you need to make any modifications to this reservation, we recommend you call us before you link your reservation.









Step 3

Link Your Walt Disney World Ticket or Pass

To unlock your access to Disney FastPass+ service, you'll need to link a ticket or Pass for each member of your travel party age three (3) or older. From the "Link Existing Reservations and Tickets" page, click on "Ticket or Pass" and follow the on-screen steps.








Step 4

Customize your MagicBands by August 22, 2013

From the My Disney Experience home page, choose "Personalize MagicBands" to select MagicBands for your travel party. You'll also need to confirm your address by August 22, 2013 to have your MagicBands shipped to your home.

Step 5

Select Your FastPass+ Experiences

If you are planning to visit the Theme Parks during this test, Disney FastPass+ service lets you make multiple FastPass+ selections for select attractions and shows in one Park per day, for each day you have a valid Theme Park ticket. Simply choose "Make FastPass+ Selections" from the My Disney Experience home page**.

All I know is that one of the guys from Dis Unplugged (the podcast here on site) booked a one day RO to get a band. After that he linked his AP and it is now his AP. I believe he has also been able to book FP+ ever since then.

This is true except for FP+. The system does not let me book for a FP+ if I don't have a reservation attached to that day. Interesting if you want to make a spur of the moment trip or stay off property.

Okay so I cancelled my hotels.com reservation and rebooked on Travelocity. I bought the Boardwalk and 5 day park hopper tickets.

I was able to link the hotel but not the tickets

Travelocity tickets are will-call-- you won't be able to link them until you pick them up.

Are you sure? Because when linking disney park tickets, there is an option for entering a will call ticket number.

Not me personally, but a friend who is travelling the beginning of September was able to customize them yesterday and MDE said they were being shipped. Whether she gets them is a different story.

Staying at POFQ in mid-Sept. Am I pretty much out of luck on the MyMagic+? Any way that calling and asking would work, or that I still could be picked? Or is my only option doing the ghost RO reservation?
