Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I just got back and am going back up for Night of Joy. I am going to call and see if I can use again. I'm booked for WL.

I believe once you have the band you can always link a pass to it and the RFID will register as your ticket for entrance. There are AP holders who attended a test and now have bands with Their passes on it. Not sure about room keys. .

Yes, as long as you have a band, any ticket you link on the site will be on it. If you have more than one band then the ticket will be linked to them all so you could switch out the band color as your mood changes.

My AP is linked to the site and I have a gray and green band. I can grab either one when I'm heading to the park and each works the same.

We're headed down on Sept 19th to AKL. We have a room only deal and I haven't purchased park tix yet. Do you need tickets (and linked) in order to be chosen? I wonder if it increases your chances? Hmmmm.....

From what I've heard, you do NOT need tickets to be chosen, though you won't be able to use FastPass+ until your tickets are linked.

Regarding the probabilities of being chosen with or without tickets - I am not sure.

So pretty much Thursday is the earliest we might hear about Sept hotels. That is 17 days from the first of the month. Monday is 17 days from my personal trip. I can survive another week in limbo right? *checks her watch*

I wasn't getting the pop up earlier this morning, but am now...who knows what is going on...30 days til our trip, so I wish Disney would make up my mind.

This is correct. We have one night room only reservation for Pop on August 31 and have received our Magic Bands. We have also been able to make FP+ reservations thru 9/8 based (presumably) on our package reservation at BWI beginning on 9/1.

I just spoke with DVC Member services about my Sept stay and asked if magic band testing would continue next month. I was told that they did not know and that the guests selected would receive notice before member services would.

I haven't been getting that pop up unless I click on the "Make FastPass+ Selections" on the right side of the screen. It used to pop up when I logged into My Disney Experience, but hasn't for over a week.

Based on all of the absolute inconsistent comments in this forum I don't think it means anything at all. For all I know, it might be because of my version of internet explorer or my antivirus software preventing pop ups... or just that I've been on the site so much WDW knows I don't need to read anymore about FP+.

But it sure would be NICE if we got the MagicBands with FP+ but it won't break the trip if we don't get it either. After all, it's my two kids first trip to WDW and we have free charector dining everyday with the FD promo going on. Life is good! (life will be better in 27 days when we check in though!)

I'm not getting the pop-up anymore either - when I used to click on FastPass+ or MagicBands and Cards I would get the "Are you ready for new magic" pop-up. Now it takes me to my MagicBands and Cards page (where I have KTTW cards from Dec that show) or to the "Select a Day" page for FastPass+ but then it says "We're Sorry! The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window."

I have no idea if any of this means anything LOL

I can only say, from a Project Management perspective, it makes little to no sense to run tests in June, July & August and then stop in September. Especially when there are whispers that Disney is planning a full scale launch for the new fiscal year which starts in October.

So, just got off the phone with a CM - had to call to get PP+ added, the website wouldn't let me (go figure) and the guy said, oh I see you are staying at Pop - have you picked out your bands yet? Are you excited for FP+? I told him honestly no, not really but I thought the test was only Aug. He paused for a moment and then told me he was very sure that Pop will continue the FP+ though Sept, so be on the lookout. Not sure how accurate this is, but wanted to share...
