Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Sorry to break it to you but that doesn't necessarily mean that you are part of a test. Some posters have had those options but are not able to select FastPass+ times or customize MagicBands. I hope the you are! But you won't know for sure until 17 days before your trip based on the Aug test.

Oh ok thanks so much for letting me know. I'm going to do some research on this so if I DO have the option to choose, I can make an educated choice. I've been ignoring all those threads assuming I didn't need to worry about it!!

No problem! The only real consideration is FP+ versus Legacy (or paper) FP. The other functions of MagicBands (RFID entry to the room & park and tap to pay) are all functional on the KTTW card.

So if you and your family want to make extensive use of paper FP it might not be the best option. But if you are rope droppers the FP+ could work well! You could hit major attractions in the AM and then use your FP+ in the evening.

Thanks! That's definitely the main consideration for us! From what I've heard about the hassle some have experienced, it seems like a good idea for them to offer the KTTW card backup option for testers so their vacations aren't negatively influenced by roadblocks from MagicBand issues. I'm still interested to know whether this KTTW backup is available currently and whether it's automatic or must be requested.

No magic band option yet though.

Same here. Only 4 in AK and 4 in DHS. However it appears I can make selections as well I understand that they may not be saved but cool that I can see how it works on the app! Pop, sept 3-17

So my family is staying @ CBR starting 9/8 and my package was paid off mid-July and I have not received tickets yet. Is that normal? Shouldn't I be getting my tickets in advance of my trip - that way, if I do get magicbands then I can link them online so I can pick FP+ options?

Anyone else know how the timing of this should work? Not sure if I should be calling a CM to find out where my tickets are yet or if I'm still fine...

Im on the website. Top right hand side of the screen > Sign in > Hover over MyDisneyExperience > Under 'Plan and Manage', select "Fastpass+" > Your dates will either load or it will provide you with a message saying not available for your dates or the like.

I'll be in POP and have those options on the MDE app and can't do a thing yet. Checking in Sept 4. The FP+ allows me to go to a calendar but, then says I need a valid park ticket. (AP holder here)

If you have a package, you don't get tickets in the mail. They would just be included on your room key (whether KTTW cards of old or MB of new if you test)

Normally when you book a package you receive tickets at the front desk when you check in. They do not mail them to you. You will receive a package with luggage tags and a fun booklet of info but the tickets stay at the desk. They don't want to risk them getting lost in the mail. If you do get a magic band the tickets are linked at check in.

During testing they are allowing use of cards for regular fast passes alongside bands for FastPass Pluss. You basically are getting extra FastPasses.

Right now during testing you can do both. You can use the card for paper FastPasses AND reserve FastPass + times on your band.

I am doing it on the website.

I didn't receive anything, just kept checking the site.
Can't do anything with magicbands yet.

When I signed in it did show the option to begin customizing the magicbands, but when I clicked on the link it went to the usual page and I wasn't able to do anything.
