Any seen money in ebates for orbitz/cheap tickets deal?

I have a question about this......can I buy my tickets now for a trip in October? I know you get a printed voucher that you bring to Guest Services, but is there an expiry on the voucher?

You can use the voucher anytime before 12-31-2015. So they would be fine for your trip in october

Has anyone used Cheap Tickets before? I assume they are reputable but thought I would ask the experts first. Is there a preference between Orbitz or Cheap Tickets?

I have used both and never had a problem with either. I always just choose whichever one has the best cash back offer through ebates or the best promotion at the time i am making my purchase

Orbitz owns Cheaptickets so I think the only difference between one and the other is which has the better Ebates deal.

Yes but everything is doubled today only so a prepaid booking (what Disney resorts are) is 2% instead of 1%, today only

Does anyone know, for the hotels.com ebates, do you have to purchase the hotel and pay for it online or can I just book it on hotels.com and pay when I get there?

I cannot answer you perfectly, because I don't have ebates experience, but I do have experience with another rewards site I cannot mention. When paying at the hotel, we did get credit, but it took AGES. If you're going to pay at the hotel, write down what your base rate per night was, base rate TOTAL, and tax. Write it all out separately. When we accidentally chose to pay at the hotel, nothing had it broken down for me to do a trouble ticket, so I had to estimate. Since they couldn't find that price, it was denied. Then about a month later it showed up magically, once the hotel got off their behinds and send the info. So be careful and take notes.

Since ebates is so much bigger than the place I normally use, it's possible ebates will do it with more ease and/or hotels.com is better/faster with them than with mom and pop cashback sites. But that was my experience with another rewards site and paying once at the hotel.
