Just as the title says...any rumors of if/when extra magic hours may come back for DL/DCA/PP guests?

Soon could be an hour or a year so until someome breaks with some more "concrete" rumors I'll believe it when they announce it lol.

Hard to see Extra Magic Hours coming back unless Disneyland is also ready to release Fastpass\Maxpass options.

If I had to guess, both those items would return when the parks get closer to 70-80% capacity around late October or early November as Disney CEO stated that was their goal. (His quote was more for the parks to get back to full capacity by late fall)

I would love to see them come back in some form starting Oct. 1st too, since we check in to the DLH on October 5th! Fingers crossed! We're paying full price without that HUGE benefit, which is not cool. I called the hotel and registered an official complaint/guest request to get EMH going ASAP for us paying full price. Maybe others staying on-site could do the same? Might help nudge things along or at least make it a higher priority, if they keep hearing from unhappy on-site hotel guests paying full price for their rooms!

Bumping this up to see if anyone has heard anything lately? Now that Genie+ is being unleashed, seems like extra magic hours should/ could be next??

I've reserved a room at the Disneyland hotel (where I have never stayed onsite) and am having a hard time justifying it without *any* perks!

I just can't see it happening, soon at least. Open earlier = need more staff earlier, which might be a non-starter.

If they just give hotel guests a free LL or other similar pass to ride a ride (like how they used to include a free any-ride FP and a $20 resort food credit), it's an inducement without associated labor costs. Chapek and co. would dig that first before expanding hours, so watch for that in the promo space for hotels.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but they are bringing back the Disney After Dark nights, parades and other things that require more staff... So it's possible?

True, but there’s a direct additional cost that guests pay for those additional park hours.

There’s no additional cost to hotel guests for extended hours, so additional labor costs would not be covered.

Extended hours would be more comparable to “after dark” events if hotel guests had to pay an additional fee on top of the hotel room to get into the extended hours.

A ligtening lane pass would be a nice perk for hotel guests. That's what the do at Shanghai Disney -- they give you one fastpass of your choosing. I'm still going to hold out hope for spring, but am prepared to not have extra hours.

Having just returned, I have a suggestion for a perk that would not cost any additional labor hours that I could see - we saw 6-8 CMs at each rope drop, so I'm thinking about just moving a few around...

How about they simply let us get in line for WEB, RSR or RotR -- even directly outside the main queue? No early ride entry, but no bumps and bruises from running the gauntlet with a stroller! I'm :cloud9: of course!
