I don't think they'll cut prices.

We all know there will not be a price cut, but what about increase? Any birdies out there know anything??

When I purchased my tickets at the time I made our room reservation, the CM told me that it was likely that 2006 prices would go up so we were better to lock in at the 2005 price. But I haven't heard anything definite.

Hmm. I thought 2006 prices were already out. I'm hoping to go next year and viewed all prices online already at either mouseavers or allears, can't remember which now. Or, are you guys saying that if I book now, I'll get the 2005 price and won't have to pay the 2006 price even though its listed?

Tickets prices usually go up twice a year, I'm sure we will not see an decrease in price.

It's ALWAYS best to buy your tickets ASAP. It protects you against price increases.

Last price increase was last January, so I would look for ticket prices to go up about the same time in 2006.

2006 prices are already out. I have booked and purchased a package with the pricing.

snackystacky, do you know usually when in January the tickets prices go up? We will be checking in 12/31 and hope to buy our tickets when we check in. I assume we will be charged the current 2005 ticket prices?
Thank you
Suzy

I'm not sure when or even IF they'll go up in January.

I would definitely buy your tickets BEFORE you leave. If you wait, you'll lose out on the advance purchase discount. If your concern is having them put on your room key, that can be done with ANY ticket.

we have saved disney dollars for our passes and were wondering if we should go ahead and buy them now ? we aren't going till next year. :confused3

We bought our annual pass vouchers this past Sept (when we had the cash).

If prices go up in 2006 - I guess we saved $$'s. I paid $420.68 for each adult annual pass voucher. But we buy them when we can for our up coming trip.
per mousesavers.com:
Prices for Annual Passes last went up on 1/2/05.

So I guess they could go up again in Jan 2006.

My guess the prices did not go up this fall because WDW offered the free food packages.

If you have the $$$ - then buy your tickets. They are good until you start to use them. ;)

Where do you buy Annual Pass vouchers? We had a AP but it expired on 10-10. I don't want to buy right now as we are not planning our next trip until Nov/Dec 2006.

You buy annual passes directly from WDW
Passholder Information and Reservations
407-560-PASS or 407-827-7200

Annual Passport - -Entitles guests to unlimited admission* to the Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, the Disney-MGM Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom™ Theme Park, as well as complimentary parking. *Except activities/events separately priced.
The Annual pass is good for 365 days from the date of purchase. If you purchase a Annual Pass voucher which must be activated at WDW, the 365 day clock begins on the day you activate it.

The Walt Disney World Co. reserves the right to revoke this pass if it is presented by anyone other than the passholder of record or if the passholder of record violates park policies.

FYI, the MYW plan was announced early Dec. '04 - I remember because I switched over my pkg. on Jan 2, '05.

DVC holds their annual info meetings late Nov./early Dec...at that time any proposed changes/percs/discounts (including tix, etc.) are usually announced. Since it's been indicated that some sort of Dining Option will be offered to DVC members, I'm anticipating/hoping for an announcement @ that time.

Just a guess, but the assumption is that the dining option will be tied into the purchase of MYW tix - so pricing will need to be established @ the announcement.
