Any room request for a studio at Jambo?

We have a Nov trip booked at Jambo in a standard studio. I see the online check in that offers 3 requests: Near Lobby, Lower Floor or Near Elevator.

First off - should I bother with any online requests? or should I call in to make a request w/ MS?

Am I correct in thinking that all DVC studios are on the 5th (and club on 6th) floor?

Are there any requests that would provide a partial savanna view? or a pool view?
We likely won't be spending a ton of time in the room but would certainly appreciate a lush view vs a parking lot (if there are any)

Am I better off requesting a certain elevator?

We only stayed at the Kidani side last trip and thankfully were near an elevator but holy long halls!! I'm guessing that the layout of Jambo the halls are not as long.

Just ask for Partial Savannah or Pool View.

And hope that the room assigner know what rooms have those views. Many of the CM's never get to see the rooms and that work off of notes and a chart.

Personally, I would ask for near lobby. You may walk 16000 steps at the parks. Then you can walk another 1000-1500 getting back to your room at the far reaches of Jambo or Kidani.
