Any robberies at BWV?

Inspired by the thread regarding recent stay with robbery at OKW, does anyone ever recall if a robbery has happened at Boardwalk Villas? I am scheduled for my vacation in about a month and like most people will lock up valuables in safe. Now I am thinking that getting more travelers checques than carrying money. My general thinking leads me to believe that it was easier to break into OKW due to the multiple buildings and more private room locations. As such it is probably not as easy to do so in BWV as you have interior corridors and possibly cameras in certain hallways by elevators or in the elevators themselves.

Don't know about BWV but there was a report of one at the WL recently. And also another thread about the BCV recently. So hotel set-up vs separate buildings theory probably has some holes in it.

I wouldn't leave much in the safe. I don't carry more than $200 with me, I charge everything back to the room. I also would not leave a laptop just sitting out as many people post. I have a cable lock for my laptop. Just because it's Disney World doesn't mean it's all Fantasyland.

Do the DVC resorts have "resort" safes (as opposed to the ones in the rooms)?
