Any rides closed during HHN daytime?

Are any rides closed during the day during HHN? I just realized that they might need to close certain rides while the haunted houses are in place.

Too early to tell. As of right now, it is speculated that only Back to the Future and possibly Fear Factor will be closed. FF "may" be open but close early each day to set up for the Bill and Ted show or it may be closed all day.

We will be there 10/28 - 11/02. Which night do you recommend we do HHN? I was thinking 10/31. Do you think it will be very, very crowded on 10/31? Do you think they will have anything extra on that evening since it will be Halloween?

HHN will be only at Universal not IoA. There is only one coaster at Universal (the Mummy.) HHN is designed for the houses not the rides. if you want to be guaranteed to hit the rides, do them during the day. Last year on Halloween night it was just like any other HHN.

Yay! its going to be at the studios only!! ahh, just like the good ole days. to me, the mid-ways are much scarier at the studios. hopefully fewer drunks too. (keeping fingers crossed)

Does anyone know if Jack will be back? I hope so!

I agree. HHN is designed for the houses, NOT the rides. I don't even think about the rides during HHN. its suppose to be ALL ABOUT the houses and being scared silly.

From my past years of going to HHN (since 1999) halloween night itself is just like any other HHN. nothing extra going on. I always go on halloween night and a few days before to make sure I see every thing.

halloween night will fall on Tuesday this year. usually, its crowded, but I think weekend nights are MORE crowded. and if it rains even fewer people. one year it was raining very lightly, (on the 31st) and we were able to just walk in the houses. it seemed alot scarier without so many people in the houses especially if nobody was behind us.

That is good to hear. Yes, we are planning to do rides during the day. I was worried they would have Mummy closed during the day. We haven't been to Universal for several years so this will be our first time riding The Mummy. Did not want to miss it.

My trip is scheduled for Sept 28 - Oct 6, so the only nights I'll be able to do HHN are the 29 and 30. This will be my first ever HHN, so I'm really excited.

I know HHN is really for the houses and not the rides, but are the rides open?

Most likely the rides will be open. Some may be changed somewhat (such as jaws). The only thing rumored to be closed is fear factor and Back to the Future. There is no way that Mummy will be closed. It is too popular.

It won't be a permanent closer. They may have a scarezone or house in that area and might have to be closed during the whole month of October for HHN or just on the nights of HHN. To soon to know for sure right now though.

ET...another great ride from my childhood. Brings back some great memories. US does have some great rides! I hope it's not closed down during October but if it is..oh well I hope it turns out to be a super scary house.

The ET queue could be made to be quite scary!
