Any reviews of Rose and Crown?

The food was great, the service, not so much.

Could have been a bad night though.

I have to apologize for the 2006 review ... there is some other stuff at the beginning of the post, but R&C is there. My parents were with us that night so there's lots of food. Sadly, the menu there has been whittled down since the advent of the dining plan and some of the things we ordered that night are no longer available.

Regardless, R&C remains a family favorite - we've never had a bad experience or meal there.

SOLD!! OMGosh! The beer flight looks phenomenal and I'm so getting that salmon appetizer thingy. MMMM

I'm not as positive about the place as others because I was disappointed in missing the Shepard's Pie. It just wasn't as good as the first time though.. Maybe it is because I didn't get a beer flight. LOL...

My sister is going in May this year and is thinking of heading here but her husband is vegetarian - do they cater for this or is it just a take it or leave it option ?
