We are looking to go in May. SWA and AA right up there in price now. Frontier has really good prices compared to the others. Thanks all!!

When I flew Frontier in October for a Disneyland trip, by the time I added in the additional charges for seat reservation ($12 didn't opt for the better seat at $24), baggage fee (checked was cheaper than carry-on fee but still $30); the pricing was very close to Southwest's ticket price. I know Frontier increased fees again in December, so double-check current pricing. Be aware that you pay for every little thing on Frontier except for one personal item that must fit under the seat in front of you.

Also Frontier does not participate in the Airline Resort Check-in. If you use the Magic Express for your return to MCO, you'll have to handle your own bags. I pack heavy for WDW trips. So SW's two bags fly free plus having the bags checked in at the resort and no need to deal with them until I'm at home is a big plus for me.

I flew them for a solo trip in December- 19 dollars each way. You'll be 12-24 for seat selection each way, 30 for a checked bag and 35 for a carryon, you get a personal item free. I was only going 2 nights, so I just packed everything in a backpack as my personal item.

The seats are like really really close together. I've never been in a smaller airline seat ever. It was very noticeable how much smaller they are than like southwest.

All in all, it was fine. The price of 58 bucks round trip was right. It's a short flight.

I've heard horror stories of frontier delays- they're flying brand new planes Phil- Mco. I had a weather delay, it was really foggy in philly the day I came back and th airport had been closed, so not frontiers fault.

I would fly them again. But consider the extra fees for what you need so you comparing apples to apples. As a single adult on a short trip I didn't pay for anything extra. On a longer trip traveling with my child, I'd need to pay for seats and bags.

Remember Frontier does not have a lot of planes in the company and that is why they only fly one or two time a day from a city. So if you encounter any issues the likelihood of getting on the next flight will be slim to none. Had a co worker whose son was stranded for 2 1/2 days at the airport because of mechanical issue with the plane. Read Frontiers FB page you will get an idea how terrible their customer service is. Lots of people on non stop flights report on the FB page about lost luggage.

As others have said factor in that they charge you for everything. For the more comfortable seats you will pay $24 each way, checked luggage is $25 a bag each way and a carry on is $30 each way so tack on $79 to the low fare you found.

What do you mean by this? This will be my first time flying with Frontier on Sunday, and I will be using Magical Express. Since our flight doesn't leave until 8:45pm on the return home, we are planning to stay in the park all day and have our bags stay at the Contemporary. When Magical Express arrives, don't they just put the luggage under the bus and off we go to the airport?

Yes you will be able to keep them at the Contemporary all day until your MDE pickup time. Just make sure to allow more time then the 15 min early that they tell you to be ready as you will need to get your bags first. Your bags will be placed under the bus and when you get to MCO you will have to bring them yourself to check them in with Frontier.

Other airlines participate in the Airline Resort Check in which means you check your bags at you Disney Resort and they take care of getting them to the airport and to the airplane. That way you don't have to handle your checked bags.
