Can't wait to try the Sunset Safari. I wanted to see what others thought of the experience. The Safari itself? The dinner afterwards?

Never heard of it, but would also like to know.

It's a new offering for AKL Concierge guests. I believe that the participants have a safari on the AKL grounds followed by dinner at Jiko

When I was in WDW earlier this month, I was actually at the AKL on the day that it was to start (November 3rd). I left the resort before the safari began, so I didn’t get to see the excited attendees. However, I do know what the ride vehicle looks like because my family and guests (including Nutz4dzny and WeFullTime’s families) took a VIP Safari at the Animal Kingdom Theme Park in a one-of-a-kind vehicle that resides over there. We were told that this same vehicle was going to be borrowed three times a week for the Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Sunset Safari. If you would like to see a photo of this vehicle, please click here.

We're hoping to do the sunrise safari when we next go-- I hope they continue to offer it. I bet (hope?) they are adding the sunset one due to the popularity of the sunrise one.

I found some information on it and it seems great. It is limited to only 8 conceigre level guest 16 years and older. They take a 1 1/2 drive though the safair and get to interact more than the sunrise safari. Afterwards they are treated to dinner at Boma's. All eight people eat together.
