Any restrictions in using rental car discount codes?

The discount codes on Mousesavers.com say that anyone can use them, but one that I found is an offer from a particular airline that I am not using. Are these discount codes really available to anyone? Do the rental car companies ever require that you prove you flew in using the particular airline the code is for?

Never mind, you can actually get this code through Southwest airlines website without even having a Southwest flight.

It's been posted before but it is code WN115 for Dollar.

If Mary has posted it on her site, then it is available for everyone.

Some codes do require meeting certain criteria (like the AMEX codes).

Mary is very good about this and will remove a code if she finds out that it is not available for the general public.
