Any resorts you have not stayed at but would like to?

Funny this came up.. we had fully intended to try other DVC resorts but have ended up at BLT and BWV just like our last trip...

On our list to try soon are BCV and VWL. We're going to try out OKW when we need a larger room bringing guests due to points cost being a lit lower.

One day we'll be able to get a room at GCV -- our last trip there we had no luck getting a room.

As for where we have stayed it's BLT, SSR, AKV, BWV and Aulani

It's funny, but we own at only two resorts (OKW and AKV). When we stay at any other resort, we almost always end up saying the same thing.....It's nice, but I sure wish it was laid out like OKW. Heck, we even say that when we stay at AKV! I do deal with the layout at AKV though, because it has the animals.

The one resort we have never stayed at that I really want stay at sometime is VWL. We've always gone in favor of the others because we live in our own "wilderness lodge", and it seems strange to vacation in a similar space. On top of that, it's really a MK resort, and that is our least favorite park. So.....Looks like we will mostly be at OKW and AKV.

On property we've stayed at every DVC resort but SSR. Don't have a desire to stay there except for maybe trying out the Treehouses someday.

BLT stayed in a studio & didn't like it, Would like to try a 1 bdrm there.

Absolutely love, love , love VWL in case you can't tell that's our absolute favorite!


Would like to do Aulani & Hilton Head in a few years & go back to Vero too.

We just stayed in a studio at the BLT for the first time and the 1 bedrooms are so much better and not because they are 1 bedrooms either, but because they are nicely done and the living room seems huge. I thought the lay out of the studio was really tight due to how they designed the kitchette. (we had 4 adults/teens. We stayed in studios at the AkL and BW and Bc and VB and thought they were much bigger....but I do feel the one Bedrooms are huge.

I'd like to try Old Key West (for the large rooms) and Boardwalk (I'd be at Jellyrolls every night). Heck, I'd like to try my home resort, BLT. I always book last minute trips and end up at SSR.

I have stayed at AKV Kidani, BCV, SSR.

I have no interest in the Treehouses or GFV.

The only DVC WDW resort that I haven't stayed at is BCV only because it is impossible to book at the 7-month date.

We would like to stay at Bay Lake and Villas at Wilderness Lodge. (We have stayed at CR and WL though).

We have always thought we would eventually stay at OKW or SSR on a spur of the moment trip.

I would like to go to VGC and Aulani but don't know if we'll ever get there.
VB sounds fun but its awfully hard to pass Disney and go somewhere else.

We love Hilton Head.

The only wdw DVC I have not stayed at is SSR Looking forward to trying it there as well as HH and VB.
WDW hotels that I have never tried are AOA, CB, YC, GF...I have spent way too much time at WDW, lol!

We have now resort hopped & tried all of the existing DVC resorts in FL plus HHI and VB and are staying at VGC and Aulani this summer. We really enjoyed almost all of them and can't wait to start rotating back thru them again!! Our top 2 favs were BCV and VWL. We enjoyed BLT for the convenience to MK & the monorail over spring break. We like AKV for the lower point structure and SSR (our home) for its moderate point requirements, proximity to DTD and its availability for short notice trips. BWV was nice for its proximity to Epcot although we liked BCV better. HHI was OK for a break from buying park tix and to just have a beach vacation for a change and tacking on a few nights at VB was a nice way to unwind after a hectic week at WDW. OKW is the one resort that we're not dying to go back to. We would probably only go there again if we were short on points and couldn't get into AKV. We really liked resort hopping for each trip so that each trip was different from the last one. Each & every resort had its own set of pluses and minuses but exploring them to find out what they were was part of the fun!!
