Has anyone noticed any differences in OKW resale prices per point since the 15 year extension was offered? I would guess that all the resales currently being offered would still be contracts expiring in 2042. I am not certain but would think that the reale value of 2042 contracts (I own one) might eventually go lower. I had not looked at the resale prices for a long time, but after a quick look at them today I did not see a lot of change since the last time I looked a few months ago. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I'm not sure that I can give you any insight on this, but we are in the process of buying a resale at OKW. Our contract expires in 2042 and we're paying $80 p/p.

Thanks for replying. I know Disney influences how low a contract can sell for by exercising their right of first refusal. I have been wondering if they have been been buying the lower priced 2042 contracts and combining them with other points that they have on hand to make up 2057 contracts that they are selling for around $96. Do you know if your $80 per point contract includes the closing costs?

$80/point resale for OKW is clearly the higher end which would indicate a smaller contract to me.

Lower/mid $70's seems more the norm for 150 to 200 points. I see a couple of stripped 200+ pointers at $70 - it will be interesting to see if anyone pushes down to $69.

Our contract was for 110 pts with another 110 banked pts..

I have decided not to take the Old Key West Extension but I may add on some points if it is a good fit for my budget. I have always wondered how to figure the value of a contract that contains banked points vs, a contract that contains no points. It would seem that you would have to add value for the banked points and then subtract the cost per point of your closing costs to come up with a price per point that your budget can accept. Would anyone know if a reasonable value per point to assign banked points in a contract would be the same value ($10-$12 per point) that I often see listed here as the value of rented points? So a a contract with 100 banked points might be worth $1000 to $1200 more than the same resale contract with no banked points.
