Wondering if there is a place to rent a car on-site and drop it off at the port for our cruise?

Thanks

Where are they located on Disney Property? I heard something about being at a hotle DTD???I have no clue?

Alamo and National share desks at the CCC and at the Dolphin-they have a shuttle for the CCC (not sure about the Dolphin-we usually rent at this location but walk over from YC/BC or BWI). Last weekend we rented from Alamo but the rental agreement was in a National jacket.

Alamo and National merged last year so it is the same company. How long they will keep the dual identities is not clear.

How would one get to the CCC if they were staying at All Star Movies? Is there a bus or is a cab the only option?

Does National/Alamo have a site at Port Canaveral? I know that Budget and Avis do and they have a free shuttle to the port. I think that there are car rental places at the hotels in Downtown Disney. Does anyone know if there is a Budget or an Avis?

According to Budget's website (checked last night), they have a desk at the Doubletree in Downtown Disney - we got a good rate quote for July, so may be worth looking into.

National/Alamo will send a shuttle. You will need to call them.

They did not merge, they were purchased and remain sister companies that share counter and garage space.

This thread continues my question on what to do if I arrive a day early on a flight. I'll rent a car at the airport, go to wherever, and then drop it off at the Car Care Center. I understand there is a rental place at the Dolphin but where is the Car Care Center? We will be staying at the CR and so I assume I'll drop my family off, check in, get the room and then drop off the car early or that evening.

Literally outside the MK? :earsboy: So that means I could A) Check in get room, drive to MK drop off car, go to the MK that afternoon and then take the monorail back, or of course B) Drop the car off walk or take the monorail back to the CR.

I think my questions have been solved.
