Any regular August diser go last August?

Hiya Guys

Just wondering if the crowds last August in particular 10-31st were at fairly "normal" levels?

Last August was our first August trip, and I heard a few people mentioning they thought it was a lot busier than usual.

I wondered whether a lot of us brits had waited for the Olympics to end and then fly out making the last 2 weeks of August exceptionally busier than previous years?

Any thoughts?

We were there again 20-25 Aug and it did seem busier.

not august but we were there 3rd september and it was MUCH busier than it usually is at that time!

Subscribing to this one, we take our first August trip for sometime this year, flying on the 18th. Hoping for reasonable crowd levels.

We have done the last 7 visits for most of August and by the end of the second week, with the US schools back, you can see a big difference in the smaller park crowds. Towards the end of the month the park opening hours usually reduce,
I didn't think that the parks looked any busier than usual in 2012 and the with current cost of airfares and Disney's price hikes, I would expect them to be even quieter this year!

I was there last week of august off the disney fatasy till the 19th september and it was busier than I have ever seen it at that time. It finally quietened down after labour day
