Any recommendations for VWL best room view?

We are staying at VWL in Jan. and wanted to see if anyone had a suggestion for requesting a specific room or location. Is there a better view in one location or another?

We have always liked the quiet pool view from a higher floor. Most of the other views (not counting dumpster which we have never had) are pretty much the same IMHO.

Sadly, a lot of people ask for the "quiet pool view, higher floor", mostly due to these boards!

What may be a good view/room for one may not be for another. If we all ask for the exact same view, some without even staying there yet, well, it diminshes the chances for most. Also, without mentioning the view we had, we thought it was terrible. I have read posters state that they loved that view/location (the one we thought was terrible). So again, what is good for one may not be good for another.

As HBC mentioned, most views are of the woods. They are also nice views.
