Made PS arrangements for next month. Never been. People either seem to love it or hate it. Wondering what recent visits have been like ...

Well, this isn't THAT recent (June 2004) but we enjoyed our lunch there. The food was very good, presented nicely, service was excellent.........and we will return.

Keep in mind that only YOU can make the decision about a place cause only you know what you like and don't, what your tolerance level is, etc.

I have eaten at places that people adore and I've hated it......

I have eaten at places that people are very critical of and really enjoyed my experience.

If it sounds like a place we'd like to try.........we do, regardless.

I totally agree with LindaR, a dining experience is one based on personal preference. But, having said that, My last venture there was last week of July... it was so great that we ate there the next night too... I love sitting by the sidewalk and watching the people! Our service was great as was the food. This rest. is a must do for us each trip!

Our last experiences there were in June 2004. We enjoyed it, so much so we had lunch there 3 times during our visit, and we are looking forward to eating there during our early Decemeber trip.

Ate there July 2004. It was great and the kids even liked it. Nothing fancy for them but my meal and the wifes meal were very good. The atmosphere was also very good.

Ate at Chefs in September 2004 and every morsel of our lunch was DELICIOUS!!!! DH and I had the special (onion soup, ham & cheese sandwich, small salad, and creme brulee), DD had the macaroni and cheese (to die for!), and our other DD had the lobster bisque (yum). Can you tell everybody sampled everybody else's entree? We left stuffed but happy, and we'll definitely make this a must do for lunch from now on. We've also eaten dinner here on several occasions and have always been pleased. BTW, the setting is beautiful. Have fun!!

Every trip I vow to eat here and we never quite make it. This will be a MUST DO in January.

I love Chefs de France - this is the place for a leisurely meal.

Service and food are great.

My wife and I just went in sept and it was our 2nd favorite meal of our trip(le cellier was the winner). I had french onion soup, lamb with potatoes crouquette with a glass of red wine and chocolate mousse. Every bite better then the last. highly recommended
