We are staying at the Poly next week and are considering an adults-only night out. Have any of you used Lilo's playhouse at the Poly recently? We have a 9-year-old. (And a 13- and 15-year-old, but they'll just hang in the room.) Did your kids like it? Worth the money?

Our kids went last Oct. DD7 and DS 3. They absolutely loved it. They did crafts, ate dinner, had a visit from characters, watched movies, etc.
Just FYI, you get 2 hours free at camp dolphin for each entree ordered at the swan and dolphin signature restaurants. My kids love that one just as much. Its much smaller but they did a lot of the same things minus the characters.

So yes, I think they are worth the money. I would do any of the kids clubs in a heartbeat.

My DD went to Lilo's when we stayed at the Poly last April and she loved it - so much that when my DH and I arrived around 9:30 to pick her up, she asked if she could stay longer. She was 6, almost 7 at the time. She had also been to Camp Dolphin the year before but definitely preferred Lilo's. She really liked the cooking activity (I think they made cookies) and meeting characters (Chip and Dale stopped by and autographed a picture she drew of them).

Lilo's is great. Very well run, fun activities, well-themed. Your 9 year old may be on the older side. I would not recommend Camp Dolphin for a 9 year old. It is not as well themed as the WDW kids clubs and skews much younger.

I also have a 3 year old that we are considering dropping with her 6yo brother. Did you have concerns about her being that young and being there late? I just wonder how they handle things when it gets later in the evening, especially with younger or tired children. Of course we will pick them up early if necessary, but I'd really love to be able to get some time in with just my DH.

Our DS is usually asleep at 830-9pm at the latest, so I did wonder if he would make it but he was fine. They keep them very entertained. Lots of crafts, playtime, character visits and movies. Plus they fed them dinner and a snack. I think we got them about 1030 and they were wide awake.
