I did a search and the only pics I could find were from 2009-anyone have more current photos or is it pretty much the same offerings? I have read some posts where they say you can get bottled water and some say you can not-what is the status on this. Also, do you need a special elevator key to get to the 7th floor-if so does everyone in your party get one? thanks in advance for any info.:thumbsup2

Everyone registered under the room will get a room key which would get you to the 7th floor, also its your express pass, and your its room key.:thumbsup2

As for offerings, I have no idea, never seen any value for our family to stay club.

In December you had to ask for bottled water. It was not cold. We had rented a fridge for our room, so we'd just get the water at night and it would be cold the next morning.

(you also get turndown service for club level, and they bring little bottles of water for that (not chocolate))

They had breakfast of pastries and sad fruit (again, it was December, so we shouldn't have expected much for fruit, though in thinking back, I did expect a lot...must have forgotten the month!) and oatmeal. At lunch/snack they had, hmm, don't remember. Dinnertime they had meat (we're vegetarian) things. Desserts were kinda overly sweet probably junky sweets.

We did NOT get our money's worth and I'm not quite sure why I thought we might. Getting one's money's worth also involves being there at food times, and we were usually in the parks. Not much interest in going back for not much we could/would eat.

But if you eat just about anything and aren't picky, AND you can be back for the mealtimes, it has the potential to be a good deal!

You also get turndown service in any room by request, we always do and they normally leave real small bottles of Fiji water or Zephyrhills water.

I actually have never gave that much thought to trying club level, but on our last visit a family by the pool said it was well worth the extra$$. I figured we give it a try this time around since we will only be there for 3 days and will be splitting the difference with a friend. I probably wouldn't have done it if I had to pay for the entire stay myself. As for being there to take advantage, we are going at the end of September so the parks close early. We will be there for breakfast and dinner but not lunch which is fine as it didn't look like they put that much out in the afternoon anyway.

Breakfast is fruit, oatmeal, various muffins, donuts, hot buns, toast, bagels, cold cereal, pastries, coffee, tea, etc. No lunch but they put out fresh fruit, potato chips and trail mix. Coffee, tea, water, soda is available all day. Evening offerings are a mixed salad, a hot entree, fruit, various cheeses, trays of olives, celery, carrots, etc., chips with salsa and sour cream and complimentary beer and wine. In the evening they serve large (and yummy) assorted cookies, and usually two other types of cake. It is well worth it - especially when the parks close early. Everyone at Club Level is extremely friendly and helpful. A very nice and relaxing way to end a day at the parks. Enjoy!

thanks jacpizzi, I think it will be a good value for us---I'm just looking forward not having to pack drinks, milk, and snacks like we usually do:woohoo:

My only worry is that once we stay club, we will always want to stay club:laughing:
sorta like the first time we stayed at a deluxe resort at disney:scared1:

My husband will be very happy to hear about the oatmeal for breakfast. He never ate the stuff until last year and now loves it... I booked club level as a way to save money on food and I think we will....

Two years ago we stayed at Club level there and really enjoyed it. The only possible drawback is that you can't secure a water view room at the time of booking, just Club Level room. But some of them are with a highway (garden) view.

I think I remember reading a post where some people were put on the 6th floor. I am not so much concerned about the view as I am about being on the same floor as the lounge.

does anyone know how many club level rooms are on allotted to the 6th floor :confused3

I stayed Club Level with my daughters last year during Spring Break. We loved it so much we are staying again in July, with hubby this time, for 6 nights. We thought the breakfast selection was perfect for us. I am a diet coke drinker for breakfast. The diet coke was not out at breakfast but I just needed to ask and they brought me as many as I wanted. The same goes for bottled water. They have uncrustables for the asking throughout the day also. My daughters were ask for several at breakfast and snack on them throughout the day. They got a few extra on the day we checked out so we all had snacks on the plane ride home. We always eat our big meal of the day at lunch time. That meant the food served at dinner was great for a small meal so we only paid for one meal a day. Of course the evening dessert treats were great also. We often saved those for the next day for a snack by the pool. We also grabbed sodas and water before heading down to the pool each afternoon. Sorry, this was a long response. You can see that for my family it is worth the extra cost. Universal is the only place where we have ever justified club level so we are not usually "those people" with the special elevator key! Boy, it sure is fun when you do it though!

I think my son is the most excited about that special elevator key:rotfl:

I check in to a regular room in 11 days! :hippie:

But I am wondering if I asked at check-in to upgrade to a club level room, do you think they would have any rooms left available? Or is Club Level the kind of perk that is always 100% taken?

And how much would a 7 night upgrade be roughly?

I want to say club is a $50-$90 per night upgrade.

Right now for our week stay next week shows only 2 king club rooms left.

My family is staying at the RPH in June. I was just wondering if you could give me an example of "hot" evening offerings in the lounge. Thinking about upgrading our room but not sure if i want to put out the extra $. I would appreciate any information you can give me! Thanks ;)

@DisMom72--Do a search in this forum for royal pacific club level pics and in one of the threads there are several pics of what they had to offer. Also in the post it says some of the hot offerings could be one of the following: pasta, chicken, fish, fried rice, assorted meats. The pictues are from 2009 but it doesn't seem like the offering have changed much:thumbsup2
