Any recent Orbitz ticket upgrade experience

We bought tickets through Orbitz for our Thanksgiving trip. We are thinking we will go back next summer and it may be worth it to get annual passes. We could use the discounts on both trips. I have never tried to upgrade Orbitz tickets before. Is it possible?

We did in May 2014 and hope to do so again in 2.5 weeks! They gave us full value of a 5 day hopper last time.

Just using your Park hoppers you purchased from Orbitz to upgrade to an Annual Pass. Really not any different than using any tickets to an annual pass, except you got them from orbitz at a discount. Most discounted tickets they will only give you the amount you paid for them toward your annual pass.

We are staying on site, so I did not pay that much attention, but I believe with the longer ones you get one magic morning. If you are going to get Orbitz ticket, join ebates first and then purchase through the link to Orbitz. You will get a small refund then. Orbitz usually has a by 4 day hopper get the 5th day free, so it saves you about $15 a ticket, plus the rebate you get from Ebates.

We are going on our first trip on our DVC points! You will get all magic mornings and early entries by staying on site, so you do not need them with your tickets.
