Any recent experiences with FOF parade reserved area?

We booked the lunch at Tony’s to get the reserved area for the parade for our 2 year old. I have friends who went and said that it was a nice spot but that people came and just stood in front of them, so they said not to bother. But I had other friends who loved it! Any recent experiences?

We did it last year. We didn't have any issues with people standing in front of us. The only issue I could see happening with that is if they were either A.) sitting on one of the benches waiting for the parade to start or B.) not standing on the edge of the sidewalk by the rope.

We did this the past two years (late November/early December) and didn’t have anyone standing in front of us. Perfect view of the parade, I highly recommend it.

We did it in 2017. CM had to constantly chase people away who did not have the package. The date we were there, the CM were diligent about doing this. Even had to chase off the same family multiple times.

To be fair to the GP, it is not clearly marked as reserved only, so CMs do need to chase people out.

I can imagine that some CMs are not as diligent about this.
