Any recent dining experience at Bull and Bear?

Just wanted to say thanks to all of the posters who reported success in securing a reservation by contacting B&B directly. I called last night and was able to get a reservation in ~mid December. We had two dates we could do it - one was fully booked (a Saturday) but for the other (weeknight) they actually had several different times available for our party size (4) although it was showing as fully booked on OpenTable. We are now counting down the days to tableside caesar, fried chicken, corn soup, - hopefully - the lemon, and much more. I guess I'm so conditioned to the Disney process where if it's not available online it's not likely, that I doubted calling would yield results until I saw the posts here. Thanks again!

If you for sure want the lemon, let your waiter know when you order drinks at the beginning so they can reserve it.

Ok I have to ask: what is this Lemon dessert everyone is discussing?

For dessert we had something simply called The Lemon, though it’s anything but simple. It’s a whole Meyer lemon from which the insides have been extracted. Those are fashioned into sorbet, chantilly cream and lemon curd. Meanwhile, the hollowed out shell is cooked sous vide in simple syrup, after which the sorbet, cream and curd are injected. The result is a wonderful creation that is both tart and sweet, not to mention fun.
