Any Quinny Zapp users?

I'm looking for feedback on the Quinny Zapp stroller. I would probably get a Maxi-Cosi infant seat to use with it at first. My main priority is something lightweight and easy to move around. With my first baby, I had a big Grace travel system and I ended up hating it (much too heavy and bulky). TIA!

I have a Zapp, but it's not my primary stroller. It's a nice and easy push, very maneuverable. Folds small. If you are looking at it for an infant, you would need the car seat that fits in it and use that for the first 8ish months, since it doens't recline at all.

ETA: I also have the 3-wheeled Euro version.

Yes!! We've had the 3 wheeled Zapp for a little over 2 years. It is SO great. It is our primary stroller. DH got it off of Ebay, but I believe it was imported from Europe since they don't sell that model here. I highly recommend the 3 wheeled version for better maneuverability. I'm currently looking for a 2nd 3 wheeled version for our 2nd child.

I have the Quinny Zapp with the 4 wheels. We got it last year for traveling.

Its awesome for air travel. It fits in the overhead compartment. It maneveurs awesome and is very easy to push. We used in WDW last year.

My compaints are as follows:

Easy to tip. My 2 year old has been able to tip it since we got it. He just slams his head and body back a few times and he can topple it backwards. He does do this with some effort but its happened more times than I can count. Lukily, he doesn't mind the fall which is why I think its happened way more times than it should have!

So because its so tippy even haning my purse on it is a risky move.

I don't know if they changed this but my sunshield comes off too easy. The shade itself is nice but from the time I got it until he turned 2 his favorite pastime was removing the sunshade. It doesn't lock in place on the sides so he can take the whole thing right off.

The sunshad also doesn't lock in an open position so although it has a nice full shade cover my son likes the sun and pushes it back, so he's always in the hot sun. I gave up and just used lots of sun screen.

I find the 5 pt hard to adjust. We now just leave his arms out of the 5pt because he always got out anyway. He is houdini he can do the same thing on my Britax car seat unless I have the straps so tight it looks like it hurts!

But overall I love it as an umbrella stroller but really it is nothing more. It is my full time stroller now and has been since I got it.

In my opinion I think it folds up really easy although sometimes it gets stuck.

I also have a 3-wheel Zapp (Lime Green here) and it has been my most used stroller for the last year! We currently have 9 different strollers if that tells you anything. LOL

I mainly use at indoor places as it isn't the greatest on bumpy sidewalks. But it steers so nice and now that I am used to it, the fold isn't really that bad. It can be tippy depending on how heavy the diaper bag is that day. I usually hang a Skip Hop off the back. Plus now my DD tends to kick off of things which will then send her backwards. LOL

We bought the Quinny Zapp over in the UK before it was available in North America. Sold it within 6 months. Ridiculous size basket accessory. Tipped really easily with a diaper bag on back and during temper tantrums......

I have had two 3-wheeled Zapps (Olive and Steel), and really liked them. They turn on a dime and have that unique look. We don't carry alot of stuff in our stroller, so the storage wasn't a major issue, I have connected a Skip Hop bag low on the back when I needed a little extra space. My son was 3-4 when we had them so I never really worried about the harness, just used it as a 3-point occasionally, but I could see that being an issue. Tipping was not a problem for us, but a heavy bag on the handle could do that, since it is so light weight.

The fold definitely has a learning curve, but once you get it down it is very simple. Getting it in the storage bag however is a totally different story however. We seldom used our bag for this reason. ITA with the other posters who said this wasn't a stroller for an infant. For one that little the Quinny Buzz would be a better fit.
