OP, while I see that you're trying to backtrack, I'm going to add another perspective.

I understand that The DisUnplugged is just a podcast for you, a source of entertainment and information. For some of us, it is much more.

I was in a bad car accident in October. My knee was destroyed, I was essentially bed-ridden. I was in pain physically and psychologically. I couldn't sleep without nightmares. I turned to the Dis. I listened to hundreds of episodes of the WDW show, every episode of the Universal show, and every episode of The Trip (all multiple times). I'd fall asleep listening to them, and when I woke up with a nightmare, I'd start them back up to get me through to the next day.

So no, I don't find any of their voices irritating, I find an incredible amount of comfort in them.

I need a moment to vent. Pete started this little interweb thing a while back. I believe John and Pete own this. Kevin is obviously involved too, and I am pretty sure everyone who is on the shows, runs these boards, acts as a moderator, etc all have a vested interest in the show.

When someone on the show critiques Disney, they are doing so on a platform that they have created and control. I don't always agree, but I am not always sober either. To criticize someone else's work on the platform they have made is akin to going on Jerry Springer and complaining that people argue on the stage.

If the goal was to start a rational discussion, that flew out the window when op said they knew they'd be flamed. The reason we come to these forums is because of the experience and knowledge the team have and share with their viewers. Don't like it, don't watch or read. Want to rant about it, start your web blog internet thing and rant there.

I hate the show Dance Mom's. I have found a way to deal with that. I don't watch it.

And I just realized that I suggested that Kevin is not blunt. That seems odd, as I remember one dining review he did that started with "this was crap" and went downhill from there.

Also maybe I'm weird but I look at the podcast people as almost like my friends and sure I might not like what my friend say all the time but it's so awesome to get some many different opinions rather than your own.

I believe it hasn't been taken down because no one was named, and most everyone has been rather kind. Everyone once in awhile these threads do pop up.

I am a bit of the odd duck on this. My father is Yankee/Giants fan; I tormented him by becoming a BoSox fan but will always be a Giants fan because baseball is a game and football is life. Add to that, I married an Eagles season ticket holder, moved near Philly, and have a Cowboys fan for a neighbor. I mean, who could like the cowboy's around here?
