Depends on what you are looking for. I like the Adventurer's club, it is fun and campy.
As to Gay nights, geez, I don't know, I do know that Thurs. is payday and many CM's go there and I would expect there might be a gay person or two among them. Slow nights, depends on when you go. Off season, most nights except Thurs, Fri and Sat. are slowish.

My advice: Give the Adventures Club a chance! Our first time we were ready to turn heel and RUN out of there after the first 2 minutes. but we didn't want to be "rude"so we stayed and had a blast!! Now it is a must do for every trip!
We also love the comedy club. Don't be shy about yelling things out when they ask for suggestions. I will never forget the ballad they sang to DH's suggestion of "oh, I wish I had a head of cheese!".

My tip: go to the Adventurer's Club. Make sure you at least stay long enough to have a drink... by then you should be getting a taste of what goes on in there, and you won't want to leave!

I believe that your age may determine what Clubs are "Must Do."
I'm 39 and had a total blast at the Rock and Roll Beach Club. We saw ages from 21-65 dancing to the Classics and it was really cool. They have live bands there.

Adventurers Club is a big hit and if you need to have a more laid back experience, then try a set in the Jazz Club.

You can't go wrong anywhere there unless you just don't like a certain type of music.

They make it simple and have something for everyone!

I vote for the comedy club and the adventurers club. Be sure andd give adventurers club a little time to grow on you. First time we went we didnt stay long enough. After you've seen a few of the shows and have been intiated you'll either love it or hate it!

Here's my vote for the Adventurer's Club! We too thought it was odd when we first walked in. In fact, we left without seeing the first show and ended up going to the Comedy Club where we met another couple who convinced us to go back to the AC and we ended up seeing 3 shows that night!

The comedy club was great fun too...be sure to sit next to a phone if you can!

And say hello to the french maid for my husband....they did a little tap dance together last time we were there!

So how does that work with paying to get in? You pay the $16 bucks or whatever to just get to the are with the clubs? Is it possible to get there early and avoid the charge? I know I'm cheap. We just have hopper passes not hopper plus so i beleive that doesn't include PI. thanks

The Adventurer's Club is a must.

The Comedy Club is great, too. If they do the "Shmeopardy" improv (their parody of "Jeopardy"), don't hesitate to yell. They had the category of Cold People, and they got great mileage out of my suggestion of Barbra Streisand.

If you love 70s and 80s music, 8TRAX is the spot.

You pay and go in, no early way in. They give you a wrist bracelet and without that, you don't get into clubs. It is over 20.00 to get in at the gate.

The Adventurer's Club and the Comedy Club are favorites of most people. Normally the first show at the Adventurer's Club is after 9:30pm but the first show at the Comedy Club is around 8:20 pm.

Slow nights can be any night but Thursday, Friday and Saturday but this too depends on the season and the weather. Forget New Year's Eve unless you also like going to Times Square in NYC.

Gay nights? Who knows.
