My DD wants to eat somewhere that has fried shrimp. Any place have it? The only place I can think of is Mara food court. But we aren't staying at AKL and don't think it would be worth the trip just for the shrimp. Another thought was the Tempura Kiku in Japan.

DD likes shrimp, but only if it has a coating.

Thanks for any other ideas.

Fultons Crabhouse has fried shrimp. It was pretty good. We had it for lunch in December. :thumbsup2

Cape May Cafe had fried shrimp when we ate there last time. They also have alot of other seafood on the buffet as well.

If you want to do a thorough investigation on shrimp, get on allearsnet.com and scroll through each of the specific menus on their dining board. I second the coconut shrimp at Rainforest Cafe in DTD or AK--with the pina colada dipping sauce it's my favorite! :woohoo:

Olivia's has a fried shrimp po' boy on their lunch menu and it's really tasty! Their shrimp isn't the standard pre-breaded stuff usually sold frozen, though. It has a nice light batter that the shrimp itself doesn't get lost in. Of course, my taste for it could be a bit biased since it was the first solid food I'd had in nearly a week following a broken molar combined with a wisdom tooth extraction. :headache:

House of Blues also has a yummy po'boy sandwich. :thumbsup2

When was this? I know it was there when we were there the last time as well; but looking at the menu online now, they do not have it listed as being one of the choices at the buffet. We're going to be eating there on Wednesday, so I'm hoping they do have them, I remember they were pretty good!

Cape May did not have fried shrimp when we were there in Aug. They only had the peel and eat steamed shrimp which were very good. :bounce:
