Any pictures of SS construction? Any other news?

I am starving for pictures and/or news from SS. Have any vacationers posted pictures of the construction site? Does anyone have diagrams of the rooms? site maps? Anything?

There are no site maps or floor plans available yet to the public.

The construction is still in the early stages with primary ground preparation and foundation work. I'll post some new photos in 3 weeks.

spring of 2004 is the opening date

they will probably start advance sales after they sell out of BCV - if they can - so much work has to be done on SS before Florida will allow advance sales -

I took some pictures last week when I was down there. They're not great, kind of distant, it was a little cloudy, and it would certainly be better as a panorama, but there they are anyway. The originals are pretty big (2240x1680) but shutterfly seems to shrink them quite a bit for sharing.

Hopefully that works for you. Let me know if it doesn't work, or if there's a better way to share photos. I have not done too much digital imaging before, so I am new to the online sharing and printing services. Anyone prefer something else to shutterfly? I looked at Ofoto too a little.

Don't sell your pictures short, they were great to look at. Thank you. The picture of the three story "residencial" building, is intriguing. I am definitely curious to see how the resort turns out!

Perhaps if Doc could take pictures on a daily basis, then post them in sequence, we could scroll down real quick and see them being built in a time lapse format.

Anyone prefer something else to shutterfly?

Depending on your ISP, you should have some space on their server for a web page. Storing your photos there would allow you to put them directly into a post.
