No, no perks offered. We knew about it before our stay (first thru the message boards) but Disney sent us a letter also. We booked 6 months ago, so no, we didn't know way back then, I'm sure it was only announced recently. People could have changed resorts at that time if they wanted I guess. There are shuttle buses to the other All Stars as well. Honestly we weren't that concerned because we don't use the food court often. If we eat breakfast at all, we eat in our room and grab a granola bar, or a muffin at the parks. But they actually had a decent selection of cold grab n go breakfast items available. We ended up actually eating 2 dinners at the resort, once ordering pizza delivery to our room which was really nice, and the other time we just walked over to Music, not far at all, and ate dinner there. It was not crowded, but it was also late... We enjoyed our stay at Sports (my son is a big baseball fan).
