Thanks for posting the pics. My DW and I were just talking about what the food/drink selections might look like for concierge. We are going in April! Can't wait!

Woo! Thank you so much for the pictures! I've been wondering what the concierge lounge and food looked like. :)

Thanks! I already planned to call MS tomorrow morning to book our AKV-Concierge trip in 11 months!

We have been booking our AKV concierge the past couple of days. Looks like we might be nieghbors, if you are going around Nov 1st.

I just booked a 1BR concierge trip last week, at 7 months out (I have BCV points, so I had to wait) I got all 4 nights in late June, no problem. I expected to be waitlisted, so I was thrilled.

Hooray for me, VAK concierge for my 50th BD trip.

We are going the first week of March and doing both sunrise and sunset safaris CAN'T WAIT!!!

We are going to be there from April 18-27 yippy free beer and wine here i come:cool1:

I remember hearing about the sunrise safari on Samantha Brown's Great Hotels show, but what is the other safari?

Thanks,
DJ

The Sunset Safari includes a safari on the grounds of the AKL itself and then a family style dinner at Jiko. It is open to anyone staying at AKL but is less expensive for club level guests. I've read nothing but raves about it.

We have a one BR in Feb and a 2 BR in May on the club level and can hardly wait! Both are short stays but we're planning on the Sunrise Safari on both trips.

How much is the sunset safari without club level?
I believe it is $220/person for ages 10+. Minimum age is 8. The price for guests aged 8-9 is less but I don't know what it is. It includes dinner at Jiko.
