I have been trying to get a ressie for 1900 Park Far Dinner with Cinderella.
But no luck.

We are going to AK that day which closes early. What are some other character meals that I can try for instead?

We already have ressies at Crystal Palace, Akershus, & Hollywood and Vine.

You don't say how many are in your party or when you are going but Chef Mickey's is good fun. You would be very lucky to get a ressie if your trip is soon.

Haven't eaten there but there is Graden Grill at Epcot (dinner served family style with Mickey and Pluto) or O'hana at the Poly (Lilo and Stitch and lots of meat)

The following don't have characters but are good fun all the same:
For something a little different the 50's Prime Time Cafe has food that is not just burger and steak, and the atmosphere is good. Also, we like Sci-fi and have always found the food good there. We also enjoyed the skillet (all you can eat) at Whispering Canyon Cafe over at Wilderness Lodge.

Are you looking for another character meal or a dinner at one of the resorts? For character meals, the obvious choice would be Tusker House at AK.

Why not Tusker House? It's at AK and that'll save you some travel time.

It looks like you are going in late Sept. based on your countdown, so I would post what you're looking for on the Sept. cancel/trade ADR thread. This is how I got my 1900 PF reserv., as I was finding no availablity any day of our trip(I don't know when this became so popular!). Then I posted, and had someone who was going to cancel responded, and we worked out a time to cancel & rebook. Also, keep trying - especially towards the 45 day mark, as people decide to cancel trips when final payment is due, and ADRs will be open. And keep trying online-I have gotten most of what I want after getting almost nothing i wanted originally.

If you are looking for other meals, Chef Mickey's is great(and right on the monorail line), and while that is another hard reserv. to get, they do serve breakfast 7-11:30, lunch(during free dining), and dinner, so you have more of a chance to get in there. Sci-Fi is also fun if you will be in DHS. Good luck!

Thanks for all the replies... we have 4 a and 2 c in our party.

I will keep trying for 1900 PF. I check several times a day and call in at least once a day. I've also posted in the Sept trade/cancel thread. So I have my fingers crossed.

Chef Mickey's and Garden Grill would be great for dinner. Tusker house does not do a character dinner (they do have a character breakfast). If you want non-character dinner, then Boma might be a good choice (as it is at animal kingdom lodge which is a short bus ride from AK).
