Any other iphone users bummed about the TSM app update?

I have learned a valuable lesson: don't update an app before reading the most recent reviews! The newest update for the Toy Story Mania app makes the game unplayable. (WTH, Disney????)

Unfortunately, I had become slightly addicted to my daily dose of TSM. No word on when it will be fixed, either. Anyone else in withdrawal?

I was planning to get the app. What happened, anyone know? What was like before it stopped working?

Geez, I didn't even know there was an app. Has anyone notified the developers of the app that it's been rendered unplayable?

ETA: Just checked the App Store and there's a notice that the developers are aware of the issue and are working to get it corrected. Hopefully that'll be soon!

It's fun and oddly addicting. It was definitely worth the app price, before this update. Obviously, now don't buy it until they fix it.

They updated to change the language options, or something like that, and the update caused the ticket counter to enter an endless loop after the first screen in any of the games, effectively freezing the game. The notice from the developers has been up for several days now. I've never had this issue, so no idea how long these fixes usually take. It seems strange they wouldn't test before putting the update out there, but what do I know?

Is it based on the attraction at DHS? I mean, same type of games, or exactly the same?

Micca, the games are very similar to the attraction. Although, obviously, limited by the screen size and the fact you are using your thumbs

There is an Army game where you are breaking plates (my personal favorite), a space game where you are throwing rings trying to loop the little aliens, Woody's round up shooting game, Bo Peep's balloon dart game, and Ham 'n Egg's egg toss where you are knocking over targets.

You work from easy mode to normal to hard, and can also unlock free play to just choose certain screens. You can "win" prizes which add extras to the games. It also tracks your high scores so you can show your spouse that you are a plate-breaking maniac.

Thanks for explanation Kristilew, it sounds like fun. I'm not into games, but I really enjoy TSM and it would be cool to have a little WDW on my touch.

Sure hope they get it fixed.

FWIW, it appears to have been corrected, or at least I assume it has. I downloaded it tonight and played it for a couple of hours with (as far as I know) no issues.

My mom bought the Wii version for the family for Christmas. I can't wait to give that one a try, too!
