Any other hotels offer transp. to/from MCO?

Does anyone know of Disney-area hotels (specifically the Swan, and some of the DTD hotels) that offer shuttles to and from the Orlando airport, either for free or for a small fee? I would love to stay at a Disney resort to take advantage of the Magical Express, but we are eligible for some discounts that would make it more economical to stay at a non-Disney hotel that's still considered to be "on Disney property." We'd prefer not to take a taxi since we have two young children (ages 4 and 6) who are in booster seats, and we don't want to lug those around with us.

Thanks!
Paula

I'm not aware that there are any free (or very inexpensive) shuttles from surrounding hotels to MCO. That's what made DME so special and innovative -- Disney thought (and was able) to offer something that didin't exist in their area, free airport transfers.

There are no hotels in the Disney area that offer free shuttle service from MCO. Only Disney hotels and Me offer the free service.

That's what I thought, but thanks for confirming for me. Guess I need to add about another $100 into the budget for transportation, or else stay at a Disney moderate resort. This would mean we will get a less-exclusive hotel for the same price as the Swan (the gov't discount we got at the Swan is about the same price as rack rate at a Disney moderate), but we will have access to the Magical Express and Disney Dining Plan (which we would definitely take advantage of).

Hmmmmm...am I the only one who has trouble making these kinds of decisions?

Follow this link to all the hotels in the area that provide a complimentary airport shuttle.

I believe the OP is looking to stay at the Swan not an off-site hotel.
And to the OP...oh yes, we've all been in that boat of indecision!!!! You just have to decide what is important to you. I've stayed at both the S/D, as well as POR. I have to tell you...I would be very tempted to book POR so that I could use DME as well as the DDP (if DDP fit our dining budget).

The hotels listed on the link above are all hotels close to Orlando International Airport.

Not sure but I think a couple of offsite hotels give you a small discount if you want to use Mears (shared shuttle service). Mears will cost around $85 for the 4 of you without any discount. I'd spend the extra money for a car service.
